시스루 패브릭을 활용한 중첩 이미지 표현 연구

Abstract

Due to the rapid development of modern civilization, modern people have enjoyed living in abundance. There are many products made using brilliant colors and various materials, and images that move and live dynamically amaze us. These changes in the times are fascinating the modern people by transforming them into shapes rather than simple forms by changing the shapes of objects. However, in the mechanical and artificial design of modern society, thirst for emotional and human design has always been of interest. It is because the emotions enrich the life quality to the hard modern people. Also, emotion is an important factor to feel the change of stimulation, and the image and feeling generated through it makes us feel secure and comfortable. This tendency toward emotion is also related to 'five senses design' which means attracting emotions by stimulating the five senses of human being such as sight, hearing, smell, taste and touch. In particular, the visual sensation of the five senses in the five senses, the touch of the material touched by the hand, and hearing are important elements of design in that human beings can feel the most through their bodies. In this study, to maximize visual and auditory elements through fiber design, we intend to maximize the abstraction by using the repetition of superposition and transparency and continuity in it. In this regard, this study tried to express 'simplicity' in order to minimize the variety of colorful colors and materials and to find a clean and light feeling. In this process, see-trough fabric, which has transparency, is suitable for showing simplification of material and superimposed image, which is the basic goal of work production. The transparency of the see-through fabric expresses superimposed images and 'continuity' very effectively. The researchers tried to stimulate the visuals in form and color and the touch in the lightness of the material by using overlapping or overlapping light and thin materials. It also induced the contrast effect between the fibers through the relatively heavy pvc fiber material. In particular, superposition was a very effective way of expressing various images depending on what kind of form and material were expressed. The approach to simplify the material and the design as much as possible eliminates complicated designs and showed the possibility of various changes and production of the textile works and it is very suitable for producing the work showing the continuity of the space by appropriating the proportional system of the works . I hope that this study which expresses the transparency of the see-through fabric and the continuity of the superimposed image has contributed to the emotional design that stimulates the senses of the viewers who appreciate it.;현대문명의 급격한 발달로 인해 현대인들은 풍요로움을 누리며 살게 되었다. 현란한 색감과 다양한 소재를 이용하여 제작된 제품들이 수 없이 생산되고 있고, 역동적으로 살아서 움직이는 이미지들은 우리에게 놀라움을 준다. 이러한 시대적 변화는 사물의 형태에도 변화를 주어 단순한 형태보다는 여러 가지 형태로 변형 시킬 수 있는 트랜스포머한 디자인이 현대인들을 매료시키고 있다. 그러나 현대사회의 기계적이고 인공적인 디자인 속에서 감성적이고 인간적인 디자인에 대한 목마름은 언제나 관심의 대상이 되고 있다. 감성은 각박한 현대인들에게 삶의 질을 풍족하게 만들어 주기 때문이다. 또한 감성은 자극의 변화를 느끼게 하는 중요한 요소로 이를 통해 생성되는 이미지와 느낌은 인간에게 안정감과 편안함을 느끼게 한다. 이러한 감성위주의 경향은 시각, 청각, 후각, 미각, 촉각이라는 인간의 다섯 가지 감각을 자극하여 감성을 끌어낸다는 의미의 ‘오감 디자인’과도 관련이 된다. 특히, 오감 중에서 눈으로 느껴지는 시각과 손으로 만져지는 소재의 촉감, 그리고 청각은 인간이 가장 밀접하게 자신의 신체를 통해 느낄 수 있는 감각이라는 점에서 디자인의 중요한 요소가 되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 섬유디자인을 통해 시각과 청각의 요소를 극대화하기 위하여 중첩의 반복되는 모습과 그 속에서 투명성과 연속성을 이용하여 절제미를 극대화를 시키고자 한다. 이러한 점에서 본 연구는 화려한 색감과 소재의 다양함을 최대한 억제하고 깨끗하고 가벼운 느낌을 찾아 ‘단순함’을 표현하고자 하였다. 이 과정에서 투명성을 가지고 있는 시스루 패브릭(see-trough fabric)은 작품제작의 기본 목표인 소재의 단순화와 중첩이미지를 나타내기에 적절하였다. 시스루 패브릭이 가지고 있는 ‘투명성’이 중첩이미지와 ‘연속성’을 매우 효과적으로 표현해 주었기 때문이다. 연구자는 가볍고 얇은 소재가 반복적으로 겹쳐지거나 포개져 나타나는 중첩을 이용해 형태나 색채로는 시각을, 소재의 가벼움으로는 촉감을 자극해 보려 하였다. 또한 상대적으로 무게감이 있는 pvc 섬유소재를 통한 섬유간의 대비효과도 유도하였다. 특히 중첩은 어떠한 형태와 소재로 표현하느냐에 따라 다양한 이미지를 표현 할 수 있어 매우 효과적인 표현 방법이었다. 복잡한 디자인을 배제하고 소재와 디자인을 최대한 단순하게 한 접근방법은 섬유작품의 다양한 변화와 연출의 가능성을 보여주었고 작품의 비례체계를 적절하게 하여 공간의 연속성을 보여주는 작품을 제작하는데 매우 적절한 표현 방법이 되었다. 시스루 패브릭이 가지고 있는 투명성과 중첩이미지의 연속성을 표현하여 공간감의 특질을 나타내고자 한 본 연구가 감상하는 관람자들의 오감을 자극하는 감성적인 디자인에 보탬이 되었기를 희망한다.
