Abstract

본 논문은 졸업연주회에서 본 연구자가 연주하였던 프로그램인 요한 세바스티안 바흐(Johann Sebastian Bach)의 Sonata in G Major for Flute and Basso Continuo BWV. 1035, 알버트 프란츠 도플러(Albert Franz Doppler)의 Fantaisie Pastorale Hongroise op.26 for Flute and Piano, 필립 고베르(Philippe Gaubert)의 Nocturne and Allegro Scherzando for Flute and Piano, 로버트 무진스키(Robert Muczynski)의 Sonata for Flute and Piano Op.26를 고찰한 연구이다. 요한 세바스티안 바흐(Johann Sebastian Bach)의 Sonata in G Major for Flute and Basso Continuo BWV. 1035는 독일의 쾨텐시절 미하엘 가브리엘 프리데스도르프(Michael Gabriel Fredersdorf, 1708-1758)에게 헌정한 작품으로 4악장 교회소나타 형식을 띠며 바로크 시대 통주저음 숫자저음, 지속저음이라고도 말하며 주어진 반주 외에 즉흥적으로 화성을 채워나가는 반주를 일컫는다. 의 쓰임이 돋보이는 곡이다. 낭만시대 대표적인 작곡가 알버트 프란츠 도플러(Albert Franz Doppler)는 유명한 작곡가이자 플루트주자이다. 그의 작품 Fantaisie Pastorale Hongroise op.26 for Flute and Piano는 플루트의 자유로운 선율과 강렬한 집시 리듬이 돋보이는 곡이다. 필립 고베르(Philippe Gaubert)는 프랑스 인상주의 음악의 대표적인 작곡가 드뷔시의 영향을 받았으며 작품 Nocturne and Allegro Scherzando for Flute and Piano에서는 플루트의 서정적인 멜로디가 돋보이고 화려하고 색채적인 효과를 나타내며 인상주의의 음악적 특징이 두드러지는 곡이다. 미국 작곡가 로버트 무진스키(Robert Muczynski)는 20세기 신고전주의 작곡가로 그의 작품 Sonata for Flute and Piano Op.26는 니스 국제 콩쿨에서 우승하였으며 각 악장마다 다양한 리듬이 특징적으로 나타난다. 본 논문은 위에서 언급한 각 작품들의 음악적 성향과 특징을 분석, 고찰하였다.;This is a study on the programs of this researcher's graduation concert: Johann Sebastian Bach's Sonata in G Major for Flute and Basso Continuo BWV. 1035; Albert Franz Doppler's Fantaisie Pastorale Hongroise op.26; Philippe Gaubert's Nocturne and Allegro Scherzando for Flute and Piano; Robert Muczynski's Sonata for Flute and Piano Op.26. J.S Bach's Sonata in G Major for Flute and Basso Continuo BWV. 1035 was composed in the church sonata form, and main themes of each movement were repeated in other parts, segmented or transformed and developed into many dotted form. Basso continuo in baroque period was used for continuous accompaniment in limited ranges when the music developed around flute melody, and bass melody freely moved so far as it didn't overlap with flute melody. As such, basso continuo in the Baroque Period played a role to enrich the music further by producing harmony and rhythm. A.F. Doppler's Fantaisie Pastorale Hongroise op.26 was composed of slow, improvised 'lassu' parts and quick, cheerful 'friss' parts. Using accents and syncopation, the music gave light and cheerful touches and using improvised melody, expressed the freedom of a gypsy. While, technical performance methods such as arch type melody, cadenza and harmonics expressed gorgeous and passionate nature of gypsy music. P. Gaubert's Nocturne and Allegro Scherzando for Flute and Piano was composed of the first part of nocturne and the second part of allegro scherzando, while main theme of the first part was transformed and developed into the form of various rhythms in the second part. P. Gaubert dissolved functional tonality and using the diatonic scales, pentatonic scales, chromatic scales, drew ambiguous harmony development to express the characteristics of impressionism, while he used techniques such as arpeggio in piano parts to express coloristic tones like the effect of a harp. R. Muczynski's Sonata for Flute and Piano op.26, composed of totally four movements in the sonata form, used piano accompaniments coming and going between the ranges, chromatic typed scale, dissonance, augmented harmony. Each movement, using beat-changing rhythm and dotted rhythm, decorated staccato and ornaments in melody for free rhythm movement, whereas in the slow third movement, dotted rhythm functioned as the main theme, producing leisurely and mysterious atmosphere. As the music approached to the climax, free beat change and short, precise rhythms expressed the characteristics of the 20th century's music. The study, which analyzed the characteristics of various forms of each piece and pieces themselves, was able to grasp the history of development of flute repertories and be learned of diverse operational methods.
