Abstract

본 논문은 필자의 석사과정 졸업연주 프로그램인 베토벤(Ludwig van Bee-thoven, 1770-1827)의 『Piano Sonata No.15 in D Major, Op.28』, 드뷔시(Claude Achille Debussy, 1862-1918)의 『Ballade L.70』, 라흐마니노프(Sergei Vasilyevich Rachmaninoff, 1873-1943)의 『Six Moments Musicaux, Op.16』 에 대한 연구이다. 베토벤의 『Piano Sonata No.15 in D Major,Op.28』는 고전시대와낭만시대의 가교역할을 한 시기의 작품으로 1801년에 작곡되었으며 그의 마지막 초기소나타이다. 출판업자 크란츠에 의해서 ‘전원’ 이라는 표제가 붙었으며 4악장으로 구성되어 있다. 제1악장에서 제시된 동기와 하행선율은 모든 악장에서 사용되어 곡 전체의 통일성을 부여한다. 또한 ‘전원’ 이라는 표제를 표현하기 위해 드론베이스를 사용하여 목가적인 풍경을 효과적으로 나타낸다. 이 작품을 이해하기 위하여 베토벤 소나타의 시기별 특징과 더불어 작품의 형식과 구조및 주제의 전개를 중심으로 분석한다. 인상주의 대표 작곡가인 드뷔시의 『Ballade L.70』 는 그의 초기작품으로 1890년에 작곡되었다. 낭만주의 성격 소품의 하나인 ‘Ballade’를 제목으로 사용했으며 A-B-A'으로 구성되어 소나타와 비슷한 구조를 지닌다. 드뷔시는 이 곡에서 다양한 선법, 증, 감화음, 페달링 등을 풍부하게 사용하여 다채로운 색채감을 표현한다. 본 논문에서는 선율, 화성,리듬, 구조등을 살펴봄으로써 드뷔시 특유의 음악성을 알아본다. 후기 낭만주의의 대표적 작곡가인 라흐마니노프의 『Six Moments Musicaux,Op.16』 은 피아노 작품으로는 6번째로 작곡되어 비교적 초기 작품에 속한다. 『Six Moments Musicaux, Op.16』 은 ‘악흥의 한 때’ 라는제목아래 독립적인 성격을 가진 6개의 모음곡이다. 6개의 곡은 주제적 연관성은 없지만 유기적인 조성관계에 있으며 느린템포와 빠른템포의 곡을 교대로 배치하여 적절한긴장감을 준다. 각 곡들은 A-B-A'형식으로 A에서 나온 주제가 B를 통해 발전하여 변주형식으로 재현된다. 이 작품의 선율, 리듬, 화성, 구조 등을 분석함으로써 러시아 특유의 우수어린 선율과 화음으로 채워진 두터운 짜임새 그리고 빠르고 화려한 음계 등을 사용한 라흐마니노프만의 음악적 특징을 분석한다.;The purpose of this thesis is to examine three works which were performed for author’s graduation recital for master’s degree. This paper is about L.v. Beethoven 『Piano Sonata No.15 in D Major, Op.28』, C.A. Debussy『Ballade L.70』, S.V. Rachmaninoff 『Six MomentsMusicaux, Op.16』. L.v. Beethoven's 『Piano Sonata No.15 in D Major, Op.28』 is composed in 1801 when he did as a bridge between age of Classicism and Romanticism. This piece is the last work among sonatas in the early period. It’s consisted of 4 movements. Motives and melodiesfrom thefirst movement appear in every movements, so can occur theunity. Also, in this sonata Beethoven uses dronebass to express a pastoral mood effectively, and string quartet-like textureto show indepen-dence of each part. Representative composer in the age of Impressionism, C.A. De-busssycomposed 『Ballade L.70』 in 1890, the early age of his composition life. And hebrought the ‘Ballade’ as a title which is the genre from the age of Romanticism. This has A-B-A formation and similarity with sonata form. It develops the themes using variation technique. Debussy uses various modes, augmented and diminished chord to bring colorful tone. Even though it’s his early work, but can discover his unique musicality. S.V. Rachmaninoff's 『Six Moments Musicaux, Op.16』 is his sixth piano work, comparatively early piece. It’s a suite consisted of 6 pieces on the title of <Moments Musicaux> with independent characters. these 6 pieces has no relation with theme, but has relevant tonality system. Also, he set the fast and slow tempo in turn so that the sound makes proper tension. Each piece has A-B-A’form. In section B, theme from section A repeats itself through the variation technique. This music is represented musical features of Rachmaninoff and filled with peculiar Russian sorrowful melody, thick textured harmony and dramatic expression on the culmination.
