한국어 교재 피동사 목록의 적절성 연구

Abstract

본 연구의 목적은 한국어 교재 피동사 목록의 적절성을 검토하여 현재의 피동사 교육에 새로운 접근법을 제시하는 데 있다. 이를 위해 ｢한국어 교육 어휘 내용 개발｣을 기준으로 한국어 교육에 적합한 피동사 목록을 구성하고 한국어 교재 말뭉치 자료를 구축하여 비교 분석하였다. 1장에서는 본 연구의 필요성과 목적을 밝히고 한국어 교육 분야에서 진행되어 온 피동사 관련 선행 연구를 검토하였다. 그 결과 피동사의 효과적인 교수 방안과 관련하여 다양한 측면에서 많은 논의가 이루어지고 있는 데 비해 주된 학습 내용인 피동사 목록 자체에 관심을 둔 연구는 없음을 알 수 있었다. 2장에서는 한국어 피동에 관한 전반적인 이론을 살펴보고 피동 표현의 다양한 유형을 검토하였다. 또한 피동사에 관한 이론 및 연구 자료를 바탕으로 한국어 피동사 목록을 종합하여 제시하였다. 3장에서는 한국어 교재 피동사 목록의 적절성 검토를 위한 기준을 밝히고 한국어 교육에 적합한 피동사 목록을 구성하였다. 또한 피동사 목록 분석을 위한 교재 선정 기준에 따라 4종의 교재를 선정하고 중·고급 단계 20권을 대상으로 말뭉치 자료를 구축하였다. 말뭉치 분석 도구로는 UTagger 품사 및 동형이의어 태깅 시스템(Ver. 2.1.2)과 Edit Plus를 사용하였다. 4장에서는 한국어 교재에서 다루고 있는 피동사 목록의 적절성을 검토한 결과에 대해 논의하였다. 먼저 한국어 교재와 ｢한국어 교육 어휘 내용 개발｣에서 제시하는 피동사 목록 및 숙달도의 일치도 분석 결과 피동사 목록이 학습자의 숙달도에 맞게 배치되어 있지 않은 경우가 많았다. 다음으로 한국어 교재 간 피동사 목록의 일치도 분석 결과 또한 낮게 나타나 각 교재에서 제시하고 있는 피동사 목록의 대표성이 부족함을 확인하였다. 마지막으로 한국어 교재 내 피동사 목록의 반복도를 분석한 결과 일부 피동사만 집중적으로 반복되는 경향을 보여 그 외 피동사 학습에는 어려움이 있을 것으로 예상된다. 이상의 연구 과정을 통해 본 연구는 한국어 교육에 적합한 피동사 목록을 구성하고 그 선정 근거를 밝혔다는 점, 교재 내 ‧ 외적 분석을 통해 피동사 목록의 적절성을 검토하였다는 점에서 의의가 있다. 이에 본 연구의 결과가 한국어 피동사 교육에 새로운 관점을 제시하였기를 바라며 이를 바탕으로 효과적인 교수·학습 자료가 개발되어 한국어 학습자의 피동사 학습에 도움이 되길 기대한다.;The purpose of this study is to examine the relevance of the passive verb list in Korean language and to present a new approach to current passive verb education. To do this, a passive verb list suitable for Korean Language Education was constructed based on ｢Research on Korean Language Education Vocabulary Content Development｣. Then Korean textbook corpus data were constructed and compared with the list. In Chapter 1, the necessity and purpose of this study were specified and the previous studies related to passive verb in the field of Korean Language Education were reviewed. From the previous study review, it was found that many discussions have been made in various aspects related to the effective teaching method of the passive verb, but no study has focused on the passive verb list itself. In Chapter 2, the general theory of Korean passive form was examined and various types of passive expressions were reviewed. In addition, a passive verb list is synthesized and presented based on theories and research data. In Chapter 3, the criteria for the relevance of the passive verb list in Korean were clarified, and a passive verb list suitable for Korean Language Education was constructed. In addition, four kinds of textbooks were selected according to the selection criteria for the passive verb list analysis, and corpus data were constructed for 20 intermediate and advanced level textbooks. As a corpus analysis tool, UTagger Part and Homographic Tagging system(Ver. 2.1.2) and Edit Plus were used. In Chapter 4, the review result on the relevance of the passive verb list in the Korean textbook was discussed. First, the passive verb list is often not aligned with the learner's proficiency, when the matching rate of passive verb list presented in Korean textbooks and ｢Research on Korean Language Education Vocabulary Content Development｣ and users’ proficiency was reviewed. Next, the matching rate of the passive verb lists among Korean textbooks are also low, indicating that the passive verb list presented in each textbook is lack of representativeness. Finally, analyzing the repetition rate of the passive verb list in Korean textbooks, it was found that only a few passive verbs were repeated intensively so it would be difficult in learning other passive verbs. It is meaningful, in that this study constituted a passive verb list suitable for Korean Language Education, revealed the reason for selection, and examined the relevance of the passive verb list through external and internal analysis of the textbooks. Therefore, it is hoped that the results of this study will present a new perspective on passive verb education of Korean language, and it is expected that effective teaching and learning materials will be developed so that they can help Korean learners to learn passive verbs.
