Convexification of a Nonconvex Quadratic by a Second Order Cone and a Nonconvex Quadratic

Abstract

그동안 비볼록(nonconvex) 함수와 이차 원추(second order cone) 함수를 제약조건으로 하는 해집합의 볼록 영역(convex hull)을 찾기 위한 연구는 계속 진행되어 왔다. 특히 특정한 조건하에서, 일반적인 비볼록 집합(nonconvex set)과 second order cond representable의 교집합을 볼록화(convexification) 할 수 있는 계산 가능한 방법이 제시되었다. 이 방법을 이용하여, 우리는 하나의 비볼록 제약 함수를 또다른 비볼록 함수와 이차 원추 함수로 바꾸어 원래의 해집합을 볼록화(convexification)하는 방법을 연구하였다.;There have been series of studies about finding a convex hull of nonconvex set with additional second order cone. Especially it is shown that under several conditions, there is a computable convex relation of a general non- convex set and a second order cone representable set(SOCr) that can be the convex hull of an intersection of a SOCr and a nonconvex set. Based on this technique, we study the way of convexification by making a feasible region of nonconvex quadratic optimization problem into an intersection of a second order cone(SOC) and a nonconvex quadratic.
