- Introduction
Purpose: Increase students motivation in reading through the integration of fun and meaningful listening, reading, speaking and writing activities.
Rationale: Extensive reading is one of the most effective ways in acquiring language skills.
Target learners: 5th to 6th grade elementary school students, mixed gender
Proficiency: Level 3 to 4 according to the World-class Instructional Design and Assessment Scale (WIDA)

Expected outcomes
Increase students' interest and motivation in extensive reading.
Increase students’ reading knowledge – reading is not only reading the texts, but also reading a lot of different materials such as pictures and signs.
Increase students' comprehensibility about the context.
Develop students' communicative competence through the group/peer discussion
Encourage students to learn from each other through cooperative learning environment
