거부민감성과 대인관계 만족의 관계에서 분노반추와 역기능적 분노표현양식의 매개효과

Abstract

본 연구는 거부민감성과 대인관계 만족간의 관계에 작용하는 분노의 역할을 알아보기 위해 실시하였다. 특히, 인지적 과정인 분노반추와 행동방식인 역기능적 분노표현양식이 순차적으로 이중매개하여 영향을 미치는지 알아보고자 하였다. 선행연구를 바탕으로, 주요변인들 간의 관련성을 유추하여 매개효과를 확인하기 위한 연구모형을 제시하고 이를 검증하였다. 또한 주요변인들 간 성차가 존재하는지 확인하고자 하였다. 연구대상은 전국의 20-39세의 성인남녀 572명이며, 2016년 10월에 온라인 전문 리서치 회사를 통해 자료를 수집했다. 설문지에는 한국판 대학생 거부민감성 척도, 분노반추척도(K-ARS), 상태-특성 분노 표현 척도 중 하위요인인 분노표출과 분노억제에 관련한 16문항, 대인관계 만족도 척도, 그 외 인구통계학적 질문을 포함하였다. 수집한 자료에 대해 기술통계, 상관분석, 독립표본 t검정을 실시하였고, 구조방정식 모형 분석과 매개효과 검증을 진행하여 다음과 같은 결론을 도출하였다. 첫째, 연구의 구조방정식 검정 결과, 분노반추와 대인관계 만족의 경로를 제외한 모든 경로가 유의하게 나타났다. 이는 거부민감성, 분노반추, 역기능적 분노표현양식이 모두 서로 관련이 있으며 이 세 변인이 대인관계 만족의 감소와 연관이 있음을 의미한다. 둘째, 거부민감성과 대인관계 만족 사이에서 인지과정인 분노반추와 행동방식인 역기능적 분노표현양식이 순차적으로 이중매개한다는 것을 밝혔다. 즉, 거부민감성은 대인관계 만족에 직접효과를 갖는 동시에 역기능적 분노표현양식을 매개변인으로 거치는 간접효과를 가지며, 분노반추와 역기능적 분노표현양식을 순차적으로 매개하는 두 개의 매개변인을 통해서도 간접효과를 가지는 것을 확인하였다. 셋째, 연구대상을 남녀로 나누어 독립표본 t 검정을 한 결과, 성차가 없음을 확인하였다. 거부민감성의 하위요인인 예기분노와 거부지각, 분노반추의 하위요인인 분노기억반추를 제외한 변인들에서 성차가 발견되지 않았다. 특히 역기능적 분노표현의 하위요인에서 성차가 발견되지 않았으므로 분노 표현에 있어 성차가 존재하지 않는다는 선행연구를 지지하는 결과를 얻었다. 대인관계에 관한 문제는 상담에서 자주 다루어지는 주제이기 때문에 이와 관련이 있는 변인들에 대한 연구가 필요하다. 특히 20~30대에 해당하는 초기 성인기는 중요한 발달 과업을 수행하는 시기로 이 시기의 대인관계가 이후의 삶에도 지속적으로 영향을 미칠 것으로 짐작할 수 있다. 본 연구의 결과는 대인관계가 만족스럽지 못하다고 여기는 성인, 특히 거부민감성과 분노에 관해 어려움을 겪고 있는 이들에 대한 개입방향을 제시한다. 이에 더하여 본 연구의 제한점과 추후 연구를 위한 제언을 함께 제시하였다.;The purpose of the study was to examine the role of anger when rejection sensitivity had something to do with interpersonal relationship satisfaction. Especially, it was investigated whether the relationship between rejection secsitivity and inperpersonal relationship satisfaction was mediated by anger rumination which is a cognitive process and dyfunctional anger expression style which was a behavioral style in sequenial order. Also, the differences of gender in variables were examined. For this study, 572 adults completed rejection sensitivity scale for Korean university students(Park myungjin, 2016), the anger rumination scale(K-ARS, Lee geunbae & Cho hyunchoon, 2008), 16 questions about anger burst and anger suppresion in States-Traits anger expression scale, interpersonal relationship satisfaction scale and other demographical questions. As a result, it was confirmed that the relationship between rejection secsitivity and inperpersonal relationship satisfaction was mediated by anger rumination and dyfunctional anger expression style successively. Also, it was proven that rejection sensitivity had an indirect effect through dyfunctional anger expression style and through two successive mediating variables -anger rumination and dyfunctional anger expression style- as well as direct effect on interpersonal relation satisfiction. There was no differences of gender in major variables. The results of this research would offer intervention strategies for the counseling who has interpersonal problems. Additionally, the limitations of this study and suggestions for next researches were suggested.
