Abstract

본 논문은 석사 리싸이틀 프로그램을 논문의 주제로 삼아 각 작품들이 지니고 있는 음악적 특성을 연구하고자 한다. 프로그램은 다섯 개의 언어(이탈리아어, 독일어, 러시아어, 영어, 스페인어)로 이루어져 있으며 바로크 시대와 낭만 시대 그리고 현대에 활동하던 작곡가의 생애, 음악적 해석, 선율과 반주부와의 관계 등에 대해 살펴 볼 것이다. 본 논문에서 다루는 쟈코모 카리시미(Giacomo Carissimi, 1605-1674)의 작품 <그리 원하면, 그리 되리라(Cosí volete, cosí sará)>는 바로크 초기에 작곡된 소프라노 칸타타 독창곡이며 다양한 스케일로 구성되어 있다. 로버트 슈만(Robert Schumann, 1810-1856)의 연가곡 <<여인의 사랑과 생애(Frauenliebe und Leben Op.42)>>는 한 여인의 생애를 단계별로 나누어 음악적으로 표현되는 모습을 보여준다. 피오트르 일리치 차이코프스키(Piotre Ilych Tchaikovsky, 1840-1893)가 작곡한 가곡 중에서 <왜...?(Отчего?..)>와 <오직 그리움을 아는 이만이...(Нет, только тот, кто знал...)>는 가곡집 《6개의 차이코프스키 로만스 Op.6 (Tchaikovsky 6 Romance Op.6)》 중 5번 및 6번곡이며, <어느 이른 봄날이었지(То было раннею весной)>와 <떠들썩한 무도회에서(Средь шумного бала)>는 가곡집 《6개의 노래 Op.38(6 Songs Op.38)》 중 2번 및 3번곡이다. 모두 사랑을 주제로 다룬다. 영국 작곡가 랜돈 로날드(Landon Ronald, 1873-1938)는 시어가 지니고 있는 면을 그대로 표현하여 《삶의 여정(A Cycle of Life)》을 작곡하였고 인생을 사계절에 비유한 연가곡이다. 호아킨 투리나(Joaquín Turina, 1882-1949)의 연가곡 《노래 형식의 시(Poema en forma de canciones)》에서는 멜리즈마, 장식음, 기타를 연상시키는 반주, 당김음, 붓점 리듬 등 스페인 음악이 지니는 고유한 특성을 잘 부각시켰다. 각 곡들의 선택 기준은 필자의 기량과 음색, 그리고 석사 리싸이틀 프로그램의 난이도에 적합한가를 고려하였다. 곡의 선택과 음악적 해석을 종합하여 실제 연주에 적용하고자 하였다. 더불어 이 작품을 연주 하고자하는 이들의 이해를 돕고자 한다.;This study examines the works presented in my master's degree recital and provides in-depth analysis of the musical forms of those pieces. The recital program consists of compositions in five languages, which are Italian, German, Russian, English and Spanish, respectively. This study delves into the historical background and life of the composers, musical interpretation, melodies, and the relationship between the voice and accompaniment of those works in a chronological order, starting from the Baroque to the Romantic and the Contemporary. The first piece <Così volete, così sarà> by Giacomo Carissimi(1605-1674) is a cantata for soprano of the early Baroque period utilizing various scales. Robert Schumann's(1810-1856) song cycle 《Frauenliebe und leben Op.42》 exemplifies how a woman's life of the Romantic period can be conveyed in music. The third group of songs examined in this study, <Why...?(Отчего?...)> and <None but the Lonely Heart...(Нет, только тот, кто знал...)> by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky(1840-1893) are No.5 and No.6 from his 《Six Romances, Op.6》, and <It was in the Early Spring(То было раннею весной)> and <Amid the Dion of the Ball(Средь шумного бала)> are No.2 and No.3 from his 《Six Romances, Op.38》, respectively. All the songs in this third group are related to the theme of 'love'. Sir Landon Ronald's(1873-1938) 《A Cycle of Life》 explicitly expresses the lyricism of the poetic language according to the undercurrent of the expanding characteristics of the Romanticism at the time, with juxtaposition of life and the four seasons. Lastly, in his <<Poema en forma de canciones Op.19>>, Joaquín Turina (1882-1949) accentuates the indigenous characteristics of Spanish music by incorporating melisma, ornaments, guitar-like accompaniment, syncopation and dotted-note rhythmic patterns. Excerpts of musical scores are provided for the parts that are in need of detailed explanation while examining the characteristics of each work. My personal performance prowess and vocal timbre, in addition to the conformity to the level of difficulty in fulfillment of master's degree recital have been put to consideration in selecting the works examined in this study. It is my wish that the performers of the works examined in this study may benefit from the contents of the research.
