W. A. Mozart의 「Sonata for Piano and Violin C Major, K. 296」에 관한 연구

Abstract

볼프강 아마데우스 모차르트(Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, 1756~1791)는 고전음악 발전에 큰 기여를 한 인물로서, 고전주의 시대를 대표하는 작곡가이다. 그의 음악적 천재성과 유럽 연주여행을 통해 습득된 작곡기법 및 다양한 음악양식들은 협주곡, 오페라, 소나타 등 거의 모든 장르의 작품들을 통해 나타나 있다. 모차르트의 바이올린 소나타 37곡은 바이올린의 비중과 역할 변화에 따라 초기, 중기, 후기 세 시기로 구분된다. 초기 바이올린 소나타에서 미미했던 바이올린의 비중과 역할이 점차적으로 커졌으며, 피아노와 대등한 위치에서 서로의 역할을 주고받는 진정한 이중주로 발전했다는 점에서 음악사적 의의를 들 수 있다. 모차르트의 ⌜Sonata for Piano and Violin C Major, K. 296⌟은 전형적인 소나타 형식의 3악장 구성이다. 제 1악장은 소나타 알레그로 형식, 제 2악장은 복합 3부 형식, 제 3악장은 론도 소나타 형식으로 구성되어 있다. 본 논문은 필자의 석사과정 이수를 위한 졸업연주 작품들 중 하나인 모차르트의 ⌜Sonata for Piano and Violin C Major, K. 296⌟에 관한 연구이다. 연구에 앞서 작품에 대한 이해를 높이기 위해 작곡가의 생애와 음악 및 모차르트의 일반적인 바이올린 소나타의 특징을 알아보았다. 작품분석과 연구를 통해 피아노와 바이올린의 밀접한 관계를 이해하고, 작품의 형식과 역사적 의미를 재인식하여 실질적인 연주에 도움이 되고자 한다.;Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (1756~1791) was a composer who made a great contribution to the development of classical music, representing classical era. His musical genius, composition skills acquired through performance trips around Europe and diverse musical forms appear in almost all genres of works such as concerto, opera and sonata. Mozart’s 37 violin sonatas are divided into three periods. Early, intermediate and later period depending on the proportion and role of violin which gradually increased from minor to equal position to piano’s, resulting in musical significance so that they developed into a genuine duet exchanging roles each other. Mozart’s ⌜Sonata for Piano and Violin C Major, K. 296⌟ consists of three-movements which is typical Sonata form. Each of movements is in Sonata-allegro form, compound ternary form, and Rondo-sonata form. This thesis is a study on W. A. Mozart’s ⌜Sonata for Piano and Violin C Major, K. 296⌟, one of the graduation performance works for author’s master’s course. The purpose of this study was to explore Mozart’s life, music, and the characteristics of his violin sonatas to understand Mozart’s ⌜Sonata for Piano and Violin C Major, K. 296⌟ and ,further, to provide help through analysis in understanding the close relationship between piano and violin and in performance.
