This study aims to describe the process of simulating a set of attempts to explore the combination between musical perception and media of painting and to sketch out painting as a result. “For a while, I listen to signals created by nature if I walk on a wooded place when the wind blows. If I follow them when the sun sets on a clear day in humid midsummer, I feel the movement of the night sky. Likewise, not only movement of the sky and rustling of leaves but also mothers' laughter of "Ha ha", mourning cries, and silence of disharmonious and tilted representations let me feel this world.” When an object is auditorily expressed, the researcher thinks about it, goes inside it, and feels it approaching them. When eyes catch movement and shape, hearing is not a sense of following after visual perception but a sense of perceiving the outside world first through consciousness and unconsciousness, and the meaning encoded by auditory perception becomes the object of image. However, this does not mean that it is easily possible to express this image in language or represent it in the language of art. The uninterpreted auditory sense wanders only as a tautological sense and image without rooting itself anywhere and then disappears to be forgotten. The radical problem consciousness begins with this state. The researcher examined musical syntax, understood the musical notation system, and then represented them via pictorial media by signifying sounds and looking back history of music that had created artistic works prior to representing the sensuously obtained image in order to accept this image wandering without knowing how to describe the identity and represent it in the language of art. There is the double intention in visualizing musical syntax. One is to represent the formless and wordless images perceived by senses in the language of art as described above. The other is to pay homage to history of art containing artists and artworks. In other words, the researcher is trying to understand the process and the principle of making music and to transform syntax of music into her own language of art and then produce artworks, beyond listening, feeling and appreciating the music. Energy and infinite potential and scalability created by the exchange of neighboring art, music, literature, dance and theatre can be frequently found in history of art with its inseparability. Currently, they are still valid even in contemporary artistic practice. The researcher aims to perform artistic practice and works using a tool of art based on the process of achieving cultural art. Moreover, the researcher aims to practice art through knowing, that is, to learn syntax of music and then to paint it not using a musical instrument but using a brush and stroke. Meanwhile, the researcher tried to avoid the pictorialization of the musical objects that were visualized because the researcher expects musical paintings through the combination of the algorithm of music and the media of painting. Therefore, in this study, it is discussed that whether the musical image can be obtained through the painting by identifying the origin and the theory of music and reviewing the relation between the music and the painting.-
