Current Issues In Various Fields For High School Students

Abstract

These days, the English education curriculum in most Korean high schools has been changing due to the modifications that have been made to the college entrance examination. One of the major changes that has been made is the degree of the difficulty of the exam: compared to the past, the English language section of the Korean SAT has become easier. Such changes were made by the government in order to reduce the demand for private English language education, which has been the primary reason for creating educational inequality in our society.
