Tandem blaise-alkenylation with unactivated alkynes: One-pot synthesis of α-vinylated β-enaminoesters from nitriles

Abstract

The in situ generated Blaise reaction intermediate, a zinc bromide complex of β-enaminoester, reacts with various unactivated terminal alkynes and an internal alkyne under mild conditions to afford α-vinylated β-enaminoesters in good to excellent yields. © 2009 American Chemical Society.
