The physical properties of exotic matter

Abstract

In this paper, we studied the definitions and the physical properties of exotic matter and energy, which violate energy conditions. To see their physical properties, we examine and analyze their geometry, gravity and thermodynamical quantities. Exotic matter appears as the source of the negative curvature and the accelerating expansion of our universe and of anti-gravity. The negative energy density, negative temperature and/or negative entropy are also shown in the examples.
