Segmental dilatation of the ileum: A report of two cases

Abstract

Segmental dilatation of the ileum is one of the uncommon causes of intestinal obstruction. Preoperative diagnosis of segmental dilatation of the ileum is difficult. We report two cases of this condition that were diagnosed preoperatively by contrast studies. © 2006 Taylor & Francis.
