국립극장 문화예술교육프로그램 활성화 방안 연구

Abstract

2000년대 초, 한국 사회에서는 ‘문화’와 ‘예술’, 그리고 ‘교육’이라는 각기 다른 영역들이 ‘문화예술교육’이라는 새로운 이름과 가치로 통용되면서 하나의 문화정책생산물로 등장했다. 문화예술교육은 등장과 동시에 정책, 복지, 교육 등 여러 영역에서 화두로 떠올랐고, 오늘날 실시되고 있는 다양한 장르에서의 교육의 의미를 되새길 수 있는 기회를 제공했다. 모든 정책의 중추이념이자 국가경쟁력과 개인의 삶의 질을 결정하는 중요한 요소로서 문화가 강조되고 있는 현 시점에서 다시 한 번 그 내용에 대한 검토의 필요성이 제기되고 있으며, 이에 따른 문화예술교육의 활성화가 이뤄져야 한다는 당위성에서 본 연구는 시작되었다. 특히 국·공립 공연장을 대표하는 국립극장은 공연뿐만 아니라 관객개발, 문화복지, 사회문화예술교육의 한 축을 담당해야 하는데, 이는 문화예술교육을 통해 가장 효과적으로 접근할 수 있다. 예술수요 창출과 수용적 측면, 더 나아가 문화 향수적 측면에서도 교육이 정도를 결정하는 중요한 변수가 되기 때문이다. 이에 본 연구는 국립극장 어린이·청소년 교육프로그램의 현황 조사와 만족도 분석을 통하여 문화예술교육프로그램 활성화에 기여하기 위한 방도를 모색하고, 국립극장이 문화예술교육 분야에서도 그 역할과 위치를 공고히 할 수 있는 발판을 마련하고자 한다. 연구를 통하여 얻은 활성화 방안은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 독보적이고 고유한 콘텐츠를 가지고 강사의 전문성에 주력한 프로그램을 운영한다. 둘째, 프로그램 참여자의 성비가 균형을 이룰 수 있도록 남자 참여자의 관심을 유도할 수 있는 프로그램을 운영한다. 셋째, 무료 프로그램 운영을 통해 문화향유기회 확대에 기여한다. 넷째, 부모님이 역할수행이나 체험, 참관 등 다양한 형태로 참여할 수 있는 프로그램을 운영한다. 다섯째, 일일체험 프로그램 및 12주 이상의 장기 프로그램 운영을 활성화한다. 여섯째, 수강경로의 특성에 근거한 효과적인 홍보와 관리를 실시한다. 본 연구에서 도출한 6가지 문화예술교육프로그램의 활성화 방안은 국립극장에서 더 나아가 국·공립 공연장 문화예술교육프로그램의 활성화 방안을 모색하는 계기를 마련함과 동시에 후속연구를 위한 기초자료가 될 수 있을 것이다. 10년 동안 문화예술교육이 양적 성장을 이루었다면, 이제는 질적 성장을 도모해야 할 전환기이다.;In Korean society, 'Culture and arts education' has emerged in early 2000. It has become an important topic in various fields such as policy, welfare, education. And It make us look back on the meaning of education that have been carried out recently in variety of genres. Culture is a foundation of the policy and an important factor that determines the quality of the national competitiveness and personal life. Based on the perception of the importance of 'Arts and culture education' , research has been initiated. Especially National theater of Korea which representing the National/Public theater should form an important role of audience development, cultural welfare and social education. This can be most effectively improved through 'Culture and arts education'. Because it is the most important elements that can create demand of arts and expand the base of arts. Thus, In this study, to try to seek ways to contribute to the 'Culture and arts education' activation through the analysis of the current situation survey and satisfaction of the program at the national theater of Korea. And try to build up the foundation for central role of National theater of Korea in the field of 'Culture and arts education'. Activation alternative obtained throughout the study are as follows. First, Promote the education by taking advantage of expertise of the instructor with unique contents. Second, Operates a program which can induce the interest of man participants for gender balance. Third, Increase the chance of contact with the education through the free program management. Fourth, Encourage the participation of the parents with a variety of methods such as role playing, participation, observation. Fifth, Activate 'Day Experience Program' and 'Long-term program more than 12 weeks'. Sixth, Execute the effective PR and management based on the application route . Six activation alternatives derived in this study may revitalize National/Public theater 'Culture and arts education' program and may be the basis for further research. 'Culture and arts education' was achieved quantitative growth during the 10 years and there is a need to achieve qualitative growth now.
