Human trafficking is a global problem that affects almost every country. Reintegration of trafficked returnees is one of the most important and challenging processes for them in order to regain their autonomy, which can reduce the trafficked rate in the long run. This study investigates key factors that affect the successful reintegration of trafficked returnees and identifies the challenges during their reintegration process by using a survey questionnaire with 43 returnees and interviews with 30 returnees. Specifically, the study examines how psychological and economic empowerment factors contribute to the successful reintegration of the returnees. The findings suggest that the family acceptance and social acceptance help the returnees receive psychological empowerment. Moreover, provision of technical and vocational training (TVET) and small & medium enterprises (SMEs) programs help them receive economic empowerment. Based on the results, policy implications and future agenda are discussed.;인신매매는 전세계의 거의 모든 국가에 영향을 미치는 국제적 문제로 대두되고 있다.
