‘베이비붐 세대’에 대한 연구 동향분석

Abstract

본 연구는 베이비붐 세대 관련 논문을 분석하여 전반적인 연구동향을 파악하고 향후 베이비붐 세대 관련 연구에 대한 시사점 및 방향을 제공하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 본 연구는 2003년부터 2015년 9월까지 한국연구재단에 등록된 국내 학술지에 발표된 베이비붐 세대 관련 학술논문 164편의 연구의 동향을 분석하였다. 논문분석은 형식분석과 내용분석으로 구분하여 실시하였다. 형식분석은 발표연도별 논문 편수, 발표 학술지의 연구분야, 연구형태, 연구방법을 중심으로 분석하였다. 내용분석은 발표 학술지별 연구주제 비교, 논문 제목에 나타난 연구주제, 베이비붐 세대가 당면한 이슈, 베이비붐 세대로 야기되는 이슈, 각 이슈의 대안을 중심으로 분석하였다. 본 연구의 주요 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 베이비붐 세대에 관한 논문은 2003년을 시작으로 2015년 현재까지 지속적으로 증가하고 있는 추세이며, 베이비붐 세대에 대한 관심이 특정한 학문에 국한된 것이 아니라 다학문적인 관심이 있음을 확인하였다. 둘째, 연구형태에서는 이차분석연구가 가장 많았고, 연구방법에 있어서 전반적으로 이론, 모델 또는 가설과 측정도구를 적용하지 않은 논문의 비중이 더 많은 것으로 나타나 연구의 이론적 취약함을 알 수 있다. 셋째, 논문 제목에 나타난 연구주제를 분석한 결과, 노후준비를 다룬 논문이 가장 많았고 그 다음으로 삶의 만족ㆍ삶의 질ㆍ생활만족을 다룬 논문이 많은 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 베이비붐 세대가 당면한 이슈의 주제는 노후준비와 가족부양, 제2의 인생으로 구분되었으며, 베이비붐 세대로 인해 야기되는 이슈의 주제는 사회양극화 심화, 주거정책 변화, 주택 유동화 문제, 노동인구 감소, 사회적 부담 중가, 새로운 소비계층 등장, 통행행태의 변화가 있었다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 향후 베이비붐 세대 관련 연구의 방향을 제시하였다.;This research aims to analyze the Baby Boomer Generation in Korea, to grasp overall research trends, and to suggest the direction of future research for the Baby Boomer Generation in Korea. This paper analyzed the research trends of 164 articles for the Baby Boomer generation that were published from 2003 to September 2015 in domestic academic journals registered on the Korea Research Foundation. This research was conducted through form analysis and content analysis. The form analysis was conducted with a focus on the publishing years, research fields of the published academic journals, research forms, and research methods. The content analysis was conducted with a focus on the comparison of subjects by published academic journals, subjects on the title, the issues that the Baby Boomer generation faced, the issues caused by the Baby Boomer generation, and the alternatives to each issue. The major results of this research are (1) the dissertations on the Baby Boomer generation was continuously on a rising trend starting from 2003 up to the present in 2015, (2) the interest in the Baby Boomer generation was in all academic journals, not limited to particular disciplines, (3) in the research form, the most research were secondary analytical research, (4) in the research methods, it was found that overall, much of the research did not apply theories, models, or hypotheses and measuring tools, showing the vulnerability of the research, (5) the results of analyzing the subjects on the title showed that the most research dealt with the preparation for old age, (6) the issue that the Baby Boomer generation faced were the preparation for old age and life after retirement, (7) the issue caused by the baby boom generation were the intensified social polarization, housing policy changes and so on. Lastly, this researcher proposed the implications and suggestions for future research based on these results.
