Abstract

This thesis is a study of the graduation concert program for the Master's Course. Graduation concert program is Bach, Rossini, Strauss, labels, Ronald, and Gounod ranging from Baroque to 20th century modern era. The study focuses on the features of the composer’s works. The works are as follow:“Quia respexit” from <Magnificat BWV 243> by Johann Sebastian Bach, 1685-1750, three songs from <La Regata Veneziana> Gioachino Rossini, 1792-1868,“Ach Lieb ich muss nun sheiden”Op.21 No.3 and“Allerseelen”Op.10 No.8 and“Cácilie”Op.27 No.2 by Richard Strauss, 1864-1949, five songs from <Cinq mélodies populaires greques> by Maurice Ravel, 1875-1937, five songs from <A Cycle of Life> by Landon Ronald, 1873-1938, and“O Dieu! Que de bijoux ... Ah je ris de me voir”from opera <Faust> by Charles Gounod, 1818-1893. Bach(Johann Sebastian Bach, 1685-1750) is a Baroque composer. <Magnificat BWV 243> is a hymn and the prayer of the Virgin Mary. Soprano solo aria no.3. “Quia respexit”is a thank you prayer up to God. One of the most melodious works of Bach. Rossini(Gioachino Rossini, 1792-1868) is early Romantic composers. He opened a new era of Italian music in a lively portraiture. <La Regata Veziana> is a three-song set. It is a good representation of the gondola rowing appearance and can see the realistic feelings of the main character through this song. Strauss(Richard Strauss, 1864-1949) is a late Romantic composer“Ach lieb ich muss nun shiden”Op.21 No.3 is a song that expresses the sorrow of parting with lyrical melodic progression. “Allerseelen”Op.10 No.8 think that is what the deceased and memories of joy and sorrow, pleasure. The song is muted climax and purity that wound around the entire song. “Cäcilie”Op.27 No.2 is a song to express love and passionate longing toward a lover. Ravel(Maurice Ravel, 1875-1937) was a French Impressionist composer. In his music was oriented to form a more clear and balanced. <Cinq mélodies populaires greques> is his first folk song arranged by pasting an accompaniment to the medieval Greek folk song book. He referred to the successful work rated among ethnic musical works. Greek folk melody features. Ronald(Landon Ronald, 1873-1938) in action until the mid-20th century British composers, but the romantic hues can be seen that the blends. <A Cycle of life)> is his representative work songs. The lyrical and beautiful songs came up with the expression of human life and love of nature subject to temporal flow. Gounod(Charles Gounod, 1818-1893) is a representative of the French opera composer. Width, leaving a lot of great work over a wide area, especially left an outstanding achievement in opera history. His opera <Faust> actⅢ of the Margueritta aria“O Dieu! que de bijoux ... Ah je ris de me voir”expresses the emotions of the main characters in an elegant melodies.;본 논문은 석사과정 졸업 연주회 프로그램을 중심으로 작곡가의 생애와 작품의 특징을 알아보고 곡에 적용함으로써 더 나은 연주를 목적으로 한다. 바흐(Johann Sebastian Bach, 1685-1750)의 <성모 마리아의 찬가 Magnificat BWV 243> 에 나오는 아리아“이 여종의 비천함을 돌보시도다(Quia respexit)”, 로시니(Gioachino Rossini, 1792-1868)의 <베네치아의 곤돌라 경주(La Regata Veneziana)>, 슈트라우스(Richard Strauss, 1864-1949)의“나 이제 떠나요(Ach Lieb ich muss nun sheiden)”Op.21 No.3 와“위령제(Allerseelen)”Op.10 No.8 그리고“체칠리(Cäcilie) ”Op.27 No.2, 라벨(Maurice Ravel, 1875-1937)의 <5개의 그리스민요(Cinq mélodies populaires greques)>, 로날드(Landon Ronald, 1873-1938)의 <삶의 여정(A Cycle of Life)>, 구노(Charles Gounod, 1818-1893)의 <파우스트(Faust)> 3막에 나오는 아리아“보석의 노래(O Dieu! que de bijoux... Ah je ris de me voir)”를 연구 대상으로 한다. 바흐(Johann Sebastian Bach, 1685-1750)는 바로크시대 작곡가로 <성모 마리아의 찬가(Magnificat BWV 243)>중 제 3곡 소프라노 아리아“이 여종의 비천함을 돌보시도다(Quia respexit)”는 하나님께 올리는 감사 기도문으로 바흐의 가장 선율적인 작품 중 하나이다. 로시니(Gioachino Rossini, 1792-1868)는 초기 낭만주의 작곡가로 생동감 있는 인물 묘사로 이탈리아 음악의 새로운 시대를 열었다. <베네치아의 곤돌라경주(La Regata Veziana)>는 3세트로 이루어진 연가곡이며, 곤돌라의 배 젓는 모습과 실감나는 주인공의 감정 변화를 잘 표현하고 있다. 슈트라우스(Richart Strauss, 1864-1949)는 후기 낭만주의 작곡가로“나 이제 떠나요(Ach lieb ich muss nun shiden)”Op.21 No.3는 애절함을 서정적 선율진행으로 표현하고 있다.“Allerseelen(위령제)”Op.10 No.8 는 사랑하는 이를 먼저 떠나보낸 사람이 기쁨과 슬픔, 즐거움과 아련함의 추억을 회상하는 내용이며 차분한 클라이맥스로 정결함이 곡 전체를 휘감고 있는 곡이다.“Cäcilie(체칠리)”Op.27 No.2 는 애인을 향한 정열적인 사랑과 그리움을 표현하는 곡으로 낭만적인 특징을 담고 있다. 라벨(Maurice Ravel, 1875-1937)은 프랑스 인상주의 작곡가이면서도 그의 음악에 있어 좀 더 명확한 형식과 균형 잡힌 형식미를 지향하였다. <5개의그리스민요(Cinq mélodies populaires greques)>는 중세 그리스 민요의 원형에 반주를 붙여 편곡한 그의 첫 민요집이며, 그가 민족음악을 가곡화한 작품들 중에서 가장 성공적이라 평가 받는 작품이다. 그리스 민요적 선율이 특징이다. 로날드(Landon Ronald, 1873-1938)는 영국 작곡가로 20세기 초 중반까지 활동했지만 낭만적인 색채가 농후하게 어우러져있음을 볼 수 있다. <삶의 여정(A Cycle of life)>은 그의 대표적인 연가곡 형식 작품으로 인간의 삶의 여정과 사랑이라는 주제를 자연의 시간적 흐름으로 표현해낸 서정적이고 아름다운 곡이다. 구노(Charles Gounod, 1818-1893)는 프랑스 오페라의 대표적 작곡가로 폭 넓은 영역에 걸쳐 훌륭한 작품을 많이 남기며 특히 오페라역사에 뛰어난 업적을 남겼다. 그의 오페라<파우스트(Faust)> 중 3막의 마르그리뜨(Marguerite)아리아“보석의 노래(O Dieu! que de bijoux... Ah je ris de me voir)”는 주인공의 감정표현을 우아하고 세련된 선율로 표현하고 있다.
