G. Pierné Impromptu-caprice pour La Harpe Op.9 에 대한 분석 및 연구

Abstract

Gabriel Pierné is one of the representative french artist who composed many significant works. Besides being a composer, he was an organist at Saint Clotilde and also a conductor at Concerts Colonne. He was appraised highly by Cezar Frank by his musical talent, endeavor and deep passion. He was influenced by many composers such as J.E.F. Massent, Cezar Frank, Maurice Ravel, and Claude Debussy. To establish his own music style, he combined the tradition of the classical music with the elements of the modern aspects of music. His music is characterize by delicate, elegant, witty and spontaneuous style, not to mention the poiseness of technique, uniqueness, and simplicity. In this thesis, I analysed and interpreted Impromptu-caprice Op. 9 for Harp solo. Having complete comprehension about harp playing in himself, he exalted his compositional talent in optimal condition on this work. Various harp techniques; arpeggios, scales, chords, glissandi, and harmonics are applied in this music to make the work charming and splendid which are the main characteristics of the instrument. It has two parts; Impromptu and Caprice. Impromptu emphasizes fluent melodies and romantic mood. Caprice expresses rhythmic vitality and liveness, these factors all together escalate the charm and integrity of the harp music.;가브리엘 피에르네(Gabriel Pierné) 는 다수의 주목할 만한 작품을 남긴 프랑스 낭만 음악을 대표하는 작곡가이자 오르가니스트이자 지휘자로 마스네, 라벨, 드뷔시, 프랑크 등 많은 거장들에게 영향을 받았다. 본인만의 음악적 스타일을 만들기 위해 고전 음악의 전통적 틀에 현대 음악의 측면을 결합시켰고 섬세하고, 우아하고, 재치 있는 작품을 만들어냈다. 더불어 단순한 구조에서 풍부한 표현력을 가지며 연주하기에 수월하도록 구성된 테크닉이 작품성을 드높여준다. 본 논문은 피에르네의 작품 중 독주 하프를 위해 작곡된 Impromptu-Caprice Op. 9를 분석하고 연구하는 데에 그 목적을 두고 있다. 피에르네가 하프라는 악기의 원리와 구조에 대해 완전한 이해를 하고 있었기 때문에 이 곡에서 그의 음악적 천재성이 더욱 극대화되어 나타난다. 아르페지오, 스케일, 코드, 글리산도, 하모닉스와 같은 하프의 다양한 테크닉들이 적재적소에 활용되어 하프가 가진 매혹적이고 화려한 부분을 제대로 살려냈다. 본 곡은 즉흥곡과 카프리스 부분으로 구성되어 있는데 즉흥곡 부분에서의 자유로운 도입부와 아르페지오로 유려한 선율이 낭만성을 강조하고, 카프리스 부분의 생기 있는 리듬과 쾌활함이 다채로운 아름다움을 보여준다.
