효과적인 다문화 음악교육을 위한 지도 방안 연구

Abstract

The purpose of the study is to propose Chinese traditional song teaching guidelines for efficient multicultural music education. Currently, our country is entering multicultural society because of globalization and other reasons. The number multicultural student in school is rapidly increasing and many problems are coming out from this symptom. To solve these problems, multicultural education, which let the students value the other country’s culture as same as our one and have a positive point of a view, is needed. There are two directions to solve problems in multicultural society. First, it is to help multicultural students to improve their ability to study and adapt themselves to school education program. Second, it is to let all students understand cultural diversities and have open-mind for different cultures. Considering that the reason of multicultural society is world’s globalization which results in delocalization and culture homogenization, and it will be accelerated than before, multicultural education, which let all the students understand the values and equality of diverse cultures, is needed. Therefore, multicultural education, which let all students be interested in and understand the equality of different cultures, is proposed in this study. There are many traditional music scores from different countries in the music text book based on 2009 Educational Curriculum Revision. But referring to the study on the recent multicultural music education, the frequency of multicultural music usage is very low and teachers have difficulties due to lack of educational materials for multicultural music education. Music text book is efficient tool for multicultural education containing traditional song scores which shows diverse cultures from many countries. It is the why more diverse and accurate data should be collected and provided by the text book. New teaching method, not only singing and listening, should be developed as well. This study is proposing specific guidelines for music education based on the Chinese traditional song in music text book. Chinese traditional music has been chosen as China, from which the most of immigrants are in this country, and which is close affecting each other, has a value for us to study its culture and society. Before making a teaching plan, Chinese music scores in 17 middle school music text books and 3 high school text books, based on 2009 Educational Curriculum Revision have been analyzed. As a result, it has been founded that verified confidence for Chinese music score is needed. Furthermore, cultural context and geographical condition should be included. Lyrics based on the historical evidence, diverse activities, presentation materials and unified education with other areas are important as well. In this study, three Chinese traditional song education models have been proposed for multicultural music education. First, it is social, cultural context approach, second, it is common element approach, the third, it is integrated approach. In addition, teaching plans for diverse activities cooperated learning, game have been included for each model. Efficient multicultural music education at school will be difficult if teachers don’t understand the properties of diverse cultures and teaching materials are not enough. Now, multicultural education is essential in this generation, which we are living in. Therefore, study on the music of diverse cultures should be expanded for multiculture education I hope this study could be helpful for the teachers, who want to teach Chinese traditional song to their students.;본 연구의 목적은 효과적인 다문화 음악 교육을 위한 구체적인 지도 방안을 중국 민요를 중심으로 개발함에 있다. 현재 우리나라는 세계화와 여러 특수한 원인으로 인하여 빠른 속도로 다문화 사회에 진입하였다. 교육 현장에서도 다문화 사회의 영향으로 다양한 민족 출신의 학생의 수가 급격히 증가하고 있으며, 이로 인하여 많은 문제가 발생하고 있다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위하여 서로 다른 집단의 문화를 동등하게 가치 있는 것으로 인식하며 긍정적인 면을 적극적으로 받아들이는 다문화주의 교육이 필수적이다. 다문화 사회에서의 문제를 해결하기 위한 다문화 교육은 두 가지 방향으로 나눠진다. 첫째, 다문화 가정 자녀들의 학력 신장과 적응을 돕는 것과 둘째, 모든 학생들에게 문화적 다양성과 차이에 대한 개방성과 관용의 자질을 함양하도록 하는 것이다. 현재 다문화 사회가 이루어진 원인 또한 거시적 관점에서 볼 때 탈지역화와 문화동질화 현상을 야기하는 세계화의 맥락에서 파악될 수 있으며, 앞으로 이러한 현상은 더 심화될 것이다. 그러므로 모든 학생을 대상으로 문화의 다원적 가치를 인식하며 타인에 대한 배려와 존중을 갖도록 하는 다문화 교육이 필요하다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 모든 학생들이 다양한 문화에 관심을 갖고 모든 문화가 동등한 가치가 있음을 알게 할 수 있는 다문화 음악 교육을 목적으로 하고 있다. 2009개정 교육과정에 따른 음악 교과서에는 다수의 세계 민요들이 수록되어 있다. 음악 교과는 세계 여러 민족의 특성이 직접적으로 스며든 민속 음악이라는 재료를 통하여 효과적인 다문화 교육을 할 수 있는 좋은 수단이다. 그러나 다문화 음악 교육의 실상에 대한 연구에 따르면 현재, 다문화 음악 교육의 빈도가 매우 낮으며, 관련 교육 자료의 부족으로 인하여 다문화 음악 지도에 어려움을 겪고 있다고 한다. 그러므로 더욱 다양하고 정확한 다문화 관련 자료가 수집되어 제공되어져야 하며, 가창, 감상 위주가 아닌 참신하고 창의적인 교수-학습 방법 또한 개발되어야 한다. 본 연구는 음악교과서에 수록된 다양한 나라의 민요 중 중국 민요를 중심으로 그 구체적인 지도방안을 제시하였다. 중국 민요를 중심으로 한 까닭은, 최근 국가통계 포털의 조사 결과에 따르면 우리나라의 결혼 이민자 중 중국 출신의 비율이 가장 높고, 대부분의 음악 교과서에 중국 민요가 수록되어 있기 때문이다. 효과적인 다문화 음악 교육을 위한 중국 민요의 지도방안을 작성하기에 앞서 2009개정 교육과정에 따른 17종의 중학교 음악 교과서와 3종의 음악과 생활 교과서에 수록된 중국 민요를 분석하였다. 분석 결과로, 다문화 음악 교육을 위한 중국 민요는 검증된 신뢰성 있는 것이야 하며, 문화적 맥락과 지리적 기원에 관련된 경험이 제시되어야 한다는 결론을 얻었다. 또한 오류가 없는 가사와 다양한 활동, 수준 높은 시각 자료, 타 교과와의 통합을 함께 제시해야 한다는 결론을 얻게 되었다. 다문화 음악 교육을 위한 중국 민요 지도 방안은 세 가지의 모형을 적용하여 제시하였다. 세 가지 모형으로는 첫째, 사회·문화적 맥락 접근, 둘째, 공통 요소 접근법, 셋째, 통합적 교수학습 접근법이다. 또한 학습자의 흥미 유발과 사회성 발달을 위하여 각 지도안에 다양한 활동과 협동학습, 게임이 함께 포함되도록 하였다. 세 가지 접근 모형을 적용하여 총 6차시의 지도안을 개발하였으며, 3명의 현직 음악 교사에게 내용타당도와 현장 적용 가능성에 관하여 검증을 받았다. 그 결과, 개발된 지도 방안이 효과적인 다문화 음악 교육에 적합하다는 사실을 알 수 있었다. 현재 우리가 살아가는 이 시대에서 다문화 교육은 필수적인 것이다. 그러나 교사가 다양한 문화의 속성을 잘 알지 못하고 다문화에 관한 자료 수집이 원활하지 못할 경우, 교육 현장에서 효과적인 다문화 음악 교육이 이루어질 수 없다. 그러므로 효과적인 다문화 교육을 위하여 다양한 문화권의 음악에 대한 연구와 자료 수집은 더욱 활발히 일어나야 할 것이다. 다문화 음악 교육을 위하여 중국 민요를 가르치고자 하는 음악 교사에게 이 연구가 도움이 되길 바란다.
