Abstract

본 논문은 석사과정 이수를 위한 졸업연주회 프로그램으로 구성되어 있다. 비발디(Antonio Vivaldi, 1678-1741)는 바로크시대의 대표적인 작곡가로서 40여곡의 오페라를 비롯하여 모테트나 오라토리오, 합창곡, 협주곡 등을 작곡하였다. <나의 충성 기뻐해주오(Col piacer della mia fede)>는 오페라 <폰토의 여왕, 아르질다(Arisilda, Regina di ponto> 총 3막 중 제 1막에 나오는 아리아이다. 가짜 타메제로 변장한 리제아에게 화가 난 아르질다 여왕이 전쟁을 선포하고 그의 심복인 니칸드로가 아르질다 여왕에게 충성을 맹세하며 부르는 노래로써 바로크 시대에 성행한 다카포 아리아(Da capo Aria)의 형태로 되어 있다. 모차르트(Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, 1756-1791)는 고전시대의 대표적인 작곡가로 피아노, 바이올린 등을 위한 기악 소나타, 교향곡, 협주곡, 오페라 등 770여곡의 작품을 남겼다. 그의 수많은 작품 중 모테트 <환호하라, 기뻐하라(Exsultate, Jubilate, K.165)>는 3개의 솔로 모테트와 1개의 레치타티보로 구성되어 있다. 가사는 종교적이며 화려하고 선율적인 멜리즈마의 성악부는 노래를 연주하는 성악가에게 고도의 테크닉을 필요로 한다. 클라라 슈만(Clara Schumann, 1819-1896)은 19세기 독일의 여류 피아니스트겸 작곡가로 로베르트 슈만(Robert Schumann, 1810-1856)의 아내이기도 하다. 그녀가 작곡한 가곡 작품 중 졸업연주 프로그램에 연주했던<유쿤데에 의한 6개의 가곡(Sechs Lieder aus Jucunde, Op.23)>중 4개의 가곡을 중심으로 연구하였다. 이 가곡집은 헤르만 룰렛(Hermann Rollet)의 시에 곡을 붙인 것으로, 여류 작곡가이자 피아니스트인 클라라 슈만의 섬세함과 기교적인 반주부가 돋보이는 곡이다. 뿔랑(Françis Poulenc, 1899-1963)은 프랑스 가곡에 있어 매우 중요한 인물로 152곡의 가곡들을 작곡하였다. 그 중<노래들(Air Chantés)>은 상징주의 시인 장 모레아스(Jean Moréas 1856-1910)의 4편의 시에 곡을 붙인 작품으로, 아름다운 자연과 인간적인 고뇌에 대해 노래하고 있는 매력적이고 아름다운 가곡집이다. 로드리고(Joaquín Rodrigo, 1901-1999)는 이사크 알베니스(Isacc Albeniz, 1860-1909), 엔리케 그라나도스(Enrique Granados, 1867-1916), 마누엘 데 파야(Manuel de Falla, 1876-1946)와 더불어 20세기 스페인 음악의 발전에 큰 기여를 한 작곡가이다.<4개의 사랑의 마드리갈(Cuatro Madrigales Amatorios)>중 사랑의 아픔을 내용으로 한 제 1곡과 2곡은 다소 느린 템포의 단조로 작곡되어져 있고, 사랑의 기쁨을 내용으로 한 제 3곡과 4곡은 앞의 곡들과는 대조적으로 빠르고 경쾌한 리듬의 장조로 작곡되어 있다. 도니제티(Gaetano Donizett, 1797-1848)는 19세기 이탈리아의 대표적인 오페라 작곡가 중 한명이다. 그의 대표적인 오페라 <람메르무어의 루치아(Lucia di Lammermoor)>중 <주위는 침묵에 잠겨(Regnava nel silenzio)>는 제 1막 2장에 나오는 여자주인공 루치아의 아리아이다. 이 곡은 망령을 본 루치아가 겁에 질려 그녀의 하녀에게 그녀가 본 것을 상세히 설명하는 까바티나(Cavatina)부분과 사랑하는 에드가르도를 생각하면 세상이 천국과 같다고 얘기하는 까발레타(Cabaletta)의 복합 2부분 형식을 취한다. 이 아리아는 루치아의 복잡한 심경이 잘 나타나있다. 반음계적 멜리즈마와 지속적인 고음역의 반복으로 연주자의 화려한 음색과 테크닉을 자랑할 수 있는 곡이다. 본 논문에서는 본인의 연주 프로그램에서의 작곡가의 생애와 작품에 대하여 알아보고, 각곡의 가사와 작곡 배경, 음악적 형식 등을 분석함으로서 실제적인 성악 연주에 도움이 되고자한다.; This thesis is formed of graduation recital program to complete Master’s course. To guide in actual vocal performance, I have analyzed each composer’s specific life and piece, lyrics, and musical format. Vivaldi (Antonio Vivaldi, 1678-1741) was a representative composer from the Baroque period, who composed over 40 operas, including motet or oratorio, choral, concertos, and etc. <Col piacer della mia fede>is an aria from the first act of the opera <Arisilda, Regina di ponto>. The aria was about Queen Arisilda declaring war against Lisea, who have disguised as Tamese, and Nicandro, who was Lisea’s henchman, pledging his allegiance to Queen Arisilda. This was formed in Da Capo Aria, which was prevalent in the Baroque period. Mozart (Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, 1756-1791) was a representative composer from the classical period and left about 770 pieces of instrumental sonatas, symphonies, concertos, operas, and etc. From his many motet pieces,<Exsultate, Jubilate, K.165>was composed of three solo Motet and one recitativo. The lyrics are religious and contains melodious melisma, but it requires high level of technique to the vocalist. Clara Schumann (1819-1896) was known as German woman pianist and composer in the 19th century and also wife of Robert Schumann (1810-1856). She mainly researched on the four songs composed by Jucunde out of her collection of six songs <Sechs Lieder aus Jucunde,Op.23>that I have performed in the graudation recital program. In this collection of songs, Clara Schumann have put music into Hermann Rollet’s poem and the accompaniment showed delicacy and virtuosity, which was compelling. Francis Poulenc (1899-1963) was a very important figure in French music history and have composed 152 songs. Among them,<Air Chantés>was a piece that Francis Poulenc put music into four poems that have been written by a symbolist poet Jean Moréas (1856-1910). It is a charming and beautiful collection of songs that sings about the beautiful nature and human agony. Joaquín Rodrigo (1901-1999) was a composer that made huge contribution to the development of Spanish music in the 20th century with Isacc Albeniz (1860-1909), Enrique Granados (1867-1916), and Manuel de Falla (1876-1946). The first and second song of <Cuatro Madrigales Amatorios> is composed as a minor in slow tempo that describes pain of love. In contrast, third and fourth song is composed as a major in fast and lively tempo that describes the joy of love. Gaetano Donizett (1797-1848) was one of the leading opera composers of the 19th century in Italy. <Regnava nel silenzio> is a female main character’s aria that appears in Act 1, scene 2 of Gaetano Donizett’s famous opera <Lucia di Lammermoor>. This aria is Composite Two-Part Form, Cavatina and Cabaletta. In Cavatina, it describes that Lucia was terrified after witnessing a ghost and explaining in details to her maid. In Cabaletta, it describes that the world looks beautiful like paradise when thinking about her love, Edgardo. This aria requires high level techniques to the vocalist, which is to express Lucia’s complex emotion changes in details, chromatic melisma and continuous high-note. This documents purpose of this research is to guide in actual vocal performance by analyzing works of the composers, specific life and piece, the content of the poem, and the musical form that composes the graduate recital program to complete Master’s course.
