Abstract

This is a brief outline of the program the contents and special characteristics of the composition of F. J. Haydn’s piano sonata No.58 in C Major Hob. ⅩⅥ:48, L. V. Beethoven’s piano sonata No.11 in B♭ Major Op.22, F. Chopin’s Ballade No.1 in g minor Op.23 and S. Prokofiev's piano sonata No.2 in d minor Op.14. Haydn’s piano sonata No.58 in C Major Hob. ⅩⅥ:48 is one of Haydn’s late period works, composed in 1789. Haydn did not include any sonata­form movement in this work: the first movement is in Fantasie style and the second movement is a Sonata Rondo. The composition of L. V. Beethoven’s piano sonata No.11 in B♭ began in 1799, and was completed in 1800. In his letter to the publisher in 1801. Beethoven referred to this composition "The Grand Solo Sonata" The four movement structure of this sonata shows the core of Beethoven’s compositional techniques. F. Chopin introduced a new genre called the "solo piano ballades" in his composition "Ballade No.1 in g minor Op.23", which is comprised of two sonata movements and an expanded third part. Prokofiev's Piano Sonata No. 2 in d minor Op.14 was written in 1912, built on four movements in a the typical format of the Classical Sonata. While adhering to the Classical format, the dynamic rhythm and melody portrayed the unique characteristics of Prokofiev's composition.;본 논문은 본인의 석사과정 졸업연주 프로그램인 F. J. Haydn의 piano sonata No.58 in C Major Hob. ⅩⅥ:48 ∙ L. V. Beethoven의 piano sonata No.11 in B♭ Major Op.22 ∙ F. Chopin의 Ballade No.1 in g minor Op.23 및 S. Prokofiev의 piano sonata No.2 in d minor Op.14를 중심으로 각 작곡가의 간략한 생애와 작품의 특징 및 내용을 연구하였다. 「하이든 피아노 소나타 No.58, Hob. ⅩⅥ:48 C장조」는 하이든 후기 소나타로서 그의 마지막시기인 1789년에 작곡된 곡이다. 이 곡은 소나타 악장을 포함하지 않은 총 2악장으로 구성되어있으며, 이 작품의 1악장은 판타지(Fantasie)스타일의 느린 악장이고, 2악장은 소나타 론도로 구성되어 있다. 「베토벤 피아노 소나타 No. 11, Op.22 B♭장조」는 1799년 작곡되기 시작하여 이듬해 1800년에 완성되었으며, 1801년 베토벤이 출판사에게 보낸 편지에 이곡을 <대 소나타 Grand Sonata>라고 소개하였다. 총 4악장으로 구성되어있는 이곡은 베토벤의 작곡 기법이 견고한 기반 위에 서 있음을 보여주고 있다. 「쇼팽 발라드 No.1 in g minor Op.23」는 쇼팽이 피아노 독주곡 장르에 발라드라는 새로운 형식을 도입하여 작곡된 곡으로서, 소나타 형식과 확대된 3부형식이라는 두 가지 측면을 갖는다. 「프로코피에프 피아노 소나타 No. 2 in d minor Op.14」는 1912년 작곡된 곡으로, 총 4악장의 전형적인 소나타 형식을 가지고 있으며, 동적인 리듬과 서정적인 선율로 각 악장마다 프로코피에프의 개성이 돋보이는 작품으로 구성되어 있다.
