Ludwig van Beethoven Cello Sonata, Op.5, No.2 in g minor의 연구 분석

Abstract

본 논문은 Ludwig van Beethoven Cello Sonata Op.5 No.2 in g minor 에 대한 연구이며, 첼로의 역할을 중심으로 살펴보았다. 첼로는 오랜 시간 동안 다른 악기를 받쳐주거나 피아노의 하성을 보강하는 역할을 하며 반주자적인 위치에 있었다. 그러나 베토벤은 5개의 첼로 소나타를 통해 하이든과 모차르트의 작품에 대한 깊은 연구와, 자신만의 어법을 적절히 사용하여 첼로에게 새로운 역할을 부여하게 된다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 Ludwig van Beethoven Cello Sonata Op.5 No.2 in g minor를 자세히 분석하여 파악하고, 첼로에게 새롭게 부여된 역할에 대해 시대·작품·작곡가 등 다양한 시각으로 조망해보는 연구를 해보고자 한다. 본 논문은 크게 세 부분으로 구성되며 내용은 다음과 같다. 첫 번째로 베토벤이 첼로 소나타를 작곡하기 이전 첼로의 역할에 대해 시대적, 작품적인 면으로 나누어 자세히 알아보고 두 번째로 베토벤의 다섯 개 첼로 소나타를 그의 삶과 함께 세 부분으로 나누어 알아보았다. 그리고 마지막으로 세 번째에서는 Ludwig van Beethoven Cello Sonata Op.5 No.2 in g minor를 분석하면서 첼로에게 부여되었던 새로운 역할을 중심으로 설명하였다. 현재 Ludwig van Beethoven의 Cello Sonata Op.5 No.2 in g minor 작품에 대한 연구는 그의 중·후기 첼로 소나타 작품에 비해 활발히 이뤄지지 않고 있다. 이러한 측면에서 본 연구는 의미 있는 작업이 될 것이며, 나아가 이 작품의 중요성과 의미가 다른 첼로 연주자들에게 전달이 되기를 바란다.; The purpose of this study is to analyze L.v. Beethoven Cello Sonata, Op.5, No.2 in g minor, focused on cello’s part. Cello had been in a position of accompanist for a long time, by supporting other instruments or strengthening piano’s lower tone. However, Beethoven studied thoroughly on Haydn and Mozart, composed 5 cello sonatas his own way and gave cello a new role. So this study tried to analyze Beethoven’s cello sonata op.5 no.2 and enlighten cello’s new role on various views. This study is organized of 3 major parts, and contents are as follows. First we looked through cello’s role before Beethoven’s cello sonata. How cello was ased commonly and how Beethoven used it. Second, we separated Beethoven’s five cello sonata into three parts related to his life. And lastly, we analyzed cello sonata Op.5 No.2, focused on cello’s new role. Currently, study of sonata Op.5 No.2 is inactive compared to his mid or late cello sonatas. So this would be a meaningful work, and furthermore, we hope other cellists would recognize the importance of this piece and what it stands for.
