장기투쟁노동자를 위한 목회상담연구

Abstract

The purpose of this study is for the overall understanding of workers in long-term struggle and for the related consideration of pastoral counseling for them. In contrast to the severity of the psychological problem with long-term struggles that is revealed with suicides by workers, the current situation reveals that the study in the psychological counseling field is not active. The current situation reveals that the study of pastoral counseling methodology in the pastoral counseling field which could listen to their experience is also not active. Therefore this study attempts to provide pastoral counseling directions for long-term struggling workers through understanding of long-term struggling workers and case studies. Pastoral counseling emphasizes that in a society that is becoming diversified, personal healing and sociocultural change must be pursued by going beyond personal internal psychological interests and identifying the pain as the problem of power that surrounds the individual through a social structural perspective. However, while studies regarding economical problems, especially regarding worker class is still few, this study observes the perspective that a pastoral counselor should hold regarding capitalism and theological discussion based on James Poling’s study on capitalism and pastoral counseling, and the role of pastoral counseling for economically vulnerable people that is mass produced by capitalism was also observed. Furthermore the pastoral counseling study related to Judith Orr’s working classes understands the developmental, class, gender, and cultural aspects of working classes in more detail and observes the caring and pastoral counseling for them. ‘A Motors’ is a representative case of long-term struggle in which it went through the process of overseas sale of the company, layoffs, the violent suppression of public authority, and 6 years of long-term struggle which lead the workers to severe economic, social relationship, and psychological difficulty. The unprecedented death of 26 workers and family directly reveals the pain they are enduring. This study attempts to listen to the detailed voice and counseling experience of the long-term struggling workers by analyzing the counseling cases of ‘A Motors’ workers that are in a long-term struggle. It was observed in the case study that individuals and organizations can have a healthy identity when dealing with the internal communication problems because of the long-term struggling workers unstable situation and the implications on pastoral counseling was revealed based on the case study to provide a direction in pastoral counseling for long-term struggling workers. Pastoral counseling for long-term struggling workers must break free from the existing psychological counseling framework to approach these people first with pastoral perspective and create a perpetual relationship in order to help the workers to their lives independently.;본 연구는 장기 투쟁 노동자들에 대한 전반적인 이해와 더불어 이들을 위한 목회상담에 관해 고찰해보는데 기본적인 목적을 두었다. 노동자들의 자살로 드러나는 노동자들의 장기 투쟁으로 인한 심리적 문제의 심각성에 반해 이들에 대한 심리 상담분야의 연구는 활발하지 못한 실정이다. 목회상담분야에서도 역시 이들의 경험에 귀 기울이며 이들을 위한 목회상담 방법론의 연구는 아직 활발하지 못한 실정이다. 그러므로 본 연구에서는 장기 투쟁 노동자들에 대한 이해와 상담 사례 분석을 통해 장기 투쟁 노동자를 위한 목회상담의 방향성을 제안하고자 하였다. 목회상담은 다원화되는 사회에서 개인에 대한 심리적 관심을 넘어 사회 구조적 시각을 토대로 개인의 고통을 개인을 둘러싼 힘의 문제로 파악하며 개인의 치유와 사회문화적 변화를 함께 추구할 것을 강조하고 있다. 그러나 경제적 문제, 특히 노동자 계급과 관련된 연구는 아직 적은 가운데, 본 연구에서는 제임스 폴링의 자본주의와 목회상담에 관한 연구를 토대로 자본주의에 대해 목회상담가가 가져야 할 관점과 신학적 논의, 그리고 자본주의에서 양산되는 경제적 취약층을 위한 목회상담의 역할을 살펴보았다. 또한 주디스 오르의 노동자 계급에 관한 목회상담 연구는 좀더 구체적으로 노동자 계급에 대해 발달적, 계급적, 젠더적, 문화적으로 이해하고 이들을 위한 목회상담과 돌봄에 관해 살펴보았다. A 자동차는 장기 투쟁의 대표적인 사례로, 기업의 해외매각, 정리해고, 공권력의 폭력적인 진압과정과 6년간의 장기 투쟁 과정을 거치면서 노동자들은 경제적, 사회관계적, 심리적으로 심각한 어려움을 겪고 있다. 유례를 찾기 힘든 26명의 노동자와 가족들의 죽음은 이들이 겪고 있는 고통을 단적으로 보여준다. 본 연구에서는 장기 투쟁 중인 A 자동차 노동자들과의 상담 사례 분석을 통해 장기 투쟁 노동자들의 구체적인 목소리와 상담 경험을 들어보고자 하였다. 사례 연구에서는 장기 투쟁으로 인한 노동자들의 불안정한 상황과 그로 인한 내부 소통의 문제를 다룰 때 개인과 조직이 건강한 주체성을 가질 수 있다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 그리고 사례분석의 목회상담적 함의를 밝힘으로써 장기 투쟁 노동자를 위한 목회상담의 방향을 제시하고자 하였다. 장기 투쟁 노동자를 위한 목회상담은 기존의 심리상담적 틀에서 벗어나 목회적 관점을 가지고 먼저 이들을 찾아가고 지속적인 관계를 맺음으로써 노동자들이 주체적인 자신의 삶을 살아 갈 수 있도록 도와야 한다.
