중학교 학교폭력예방 음악프로그램 개발 및 적용 연구

Abstract

본 연구는 중학교에서 교사와 상담사가 활용할 수 있는 학교폭력예방 음악프로그램을 개발하고 현장에 적용하여 그 효과를 분석하는데 목적이 있다. 현재 중학교는 학기 별 1회 이상의 학교폭력예방교육이 의무로 실시되고 있다. 학교폭력의 직접적인 해결책이 학교 현장에 있고 현장의 변화와 노력을 유도하는 추세에 발맞추어 학교폭력예방 음악프로그램으로 학생들의 인성역량을 강화하고자 한다. 중학교 학교폭력의 특징과 기존에 개발된 프로그램 분석을 바탕으로 학교폭력예방 음악프로그램의 모형을 구조화하였다. 본 프로그램에는 자기 개방, 감정 조절, 자존감, 의사소통, 공감, 갈등해결, 공격성 인식 및 대처방법, 공동체 의식이 도달되었으며 개인적 인성역량에서 관계적 인성역량을 거쳐 사회적 인성역량을 함양하는데 초점을 맞추었다. 총 3단계 10회기로 개발된 프로그램은 전문가 검증을 거쳐 중학교 현장에서 실행 적용하였다. 동질성이 검증된 중학교의 두 학급을 대상으로 사전사후 검사를 실시하고 실험군에 프로그램을 적용한 결과 학생들의 학교폭력에 대한 허용적 태도 점수는 낮아졌고 학교폭력에 대한 대처능력 점수는 높아졌다. 즉 학교폭력에 대한 인식이 개선되었고 대처능력이 향상되었음을 확인할 수 있었다. 본 연구의 분석결과는 다음과 같다. 개발된 학교폭력예방 음악프로그램은 학교폭력에 대한 허용적 태도의 하위요인 중 피해자에 대한 지지적 태도에서 실험군 및 통제군 집단에 따른 유의한 차이가 발견되었다. 즉 학교폭력예방 음악프로그램은 피해자에 대한 협력적 태도를 함양하여 학생들의 공동체 의식을 고취하는데 긍정적인 효과가 있었다. 본 연구의 결과를 바탕으로 중학교 현장에서 학교폭력예방교육에 음악프로그램을 활용할 수 있기를 바란다. 또한 다른 지역과 학급 규모에 따라 학교폭력예방 음악프로그램의 효과를 검증하고, 프로그램의 효과 검증을 위하여 다양한 인성검사 측정 도구를 활용하는 것을 제안한다.; This study was intended to develop a music based school violence prevention program and examine the effectiveness of it. For this purpose the developed program was applied at middle schools by teachers and consultants. Today, school violence prevention educations are mandatory at least once per semester in middle schools. As being a part of this effort, this program was designed to strengthen personalities and competencies of students on-site at school, where the actual solutions for school violence can be found. The model of the music based school violence prevention program was designed based on the features of the violence in middle school and current school violence prevention programs. Embodied in this program were self-disclosure, emotion control, self-esteem, communication, sympathy, conflict resolution, awareness and response of aggression, and sense of community. Additionally, it focuses on cultivating personalities and competencies; through a stepwise approach of personal, relational and communicational. The program includes 3 steps and 10 sessions in total and was conducted in the middle schools after approval from specialists. Pre-tests and post-tests were carried out in two homogeneous middle school classes. Test group's results indicated that the score of students' attitude of acceptance for violence in school decreased and the score of ability to deal with it increased. That is to say, the awareness of school violence has improved and the ability to deal with it has enhanced. The findings are as follows: There was a significant difference between test group and comparison group in the attitude of assistance for victims among the sub-factors of the attitude of acceptance of violence in school. In other words, the music based school violence prevention program has a positive effect on cultivating the attitude of support for victims to inspire the sense of community. Based on this result, the music based program is expected to be used for the education for school violence prevention in the real site of middle school. Moreover, further verification in different locations and class sizes, with various measuring tools of personality test, is suggested.
