F. Mendelssohn Cello Sonata, Op. 58, No. 2 에 관한 분석 및 연구

Abstract

본 논문은 독일의 대표적인 낭만주의 작곡가 멘델스존(Felix Mendelssohn 1809-1847)의 첼로 소나타 2번(Cello Sonata, Op.58, No.2)에 관한 분석 연구이다. 이 곡은 1843년 독일 출판인 키스트너의 요청에 의해 작곡되었고, 자신의 동생인 파울 멘델스존에게 헌정 되었다. 멘델스존 첼로 소나타, Op.58, No.2은 총 4악장으로 작곡되었으며, 1악장은 소나타형식, 2악장은 복합2부형식, 3악장은 가요형식(2부형식), 4악장은 2악장과 같은 복합2부형식으로 구성된다. 고전적인 3화음의 사용과 도미넌트 7화음, 이차적 도미넌트 화음 등 다양한 화성을 사용하며, 장조에서 단조화음을 사용하는 반음계적 진행을 통하여 낭만주의적 화성색채를 표현하는 특징을 가지고 있다. 필자는 이러한 특징에 착안하여 작품의 형식, 선율, 음형, 조성, 화성으로 나누어 분석하고 더 나아가 그의 생애와 음악적 특징을 이해함으로써 그의 작곡의도를 파악하고 연주하는데 도움을 얻고자 한다.; This study is an in-depth analysis of ≪Cello Sonata, Op.58, No.2≫, which are representative work of Romanticism Period F. Mendelssohn (1809-1847) This piece was composed, in 1843, by the request of Kistner, a German publisher and was dedicated to Mendelssohn's brother, Paul Mendelssohn. There are 4 movements, which are consisted of sonata form in first movement, compound binary form in second, song form(binary form) in third, and compound binary form in fourth.≪Cello Sonata, Op.58, No.2≫ accepts the characteristics of Romantic harmonic language by employing various harmony such as classical triad, dominant seventh harmony and secondary dominant harmony and by containing chromatic progression by the usage of minor harmony in a major work. The purpose of this study is to understand his intention of composition and to aid the actual performance practice by analyzing and understanding the characteristics of the piece in the criteria of form, melody, motif, tonality, harmony and his lifetime.
