뇌성마비 성인과 일반 성인의 음악적 발화과제 시 음성 특성 비교

Abstract

본 연구의 목적은 뇌성마비성인집단과 일반성인집단에게 동일한 발화과제(일반발화, 리듬발화, 선율발화)를 제공한 뒤 어떠한 음성 특성이 나타나는지 알아보는 것이다. 연구대상은 뇌성마비 성인 20명과 일반 성인 20명이며 프라트(Praat) 프로그램을 사용하여 발화과제에 따른 기본주파수, 음성강도, 주파수 변동률(Jitter), 진폭 변동률(Shimmer)수치를 구하였다. 각 집단의 발화과제에 따른 음성 특성을 비교한 뒤, 두 집단 간의 발화과제 별 음성 특성을 비교하였다. 각 집단의 발화 과제에 따른 음성 특성 분석 결과, 기본주파수의 경우 두 집단 모두 선율발화 시 가장 높은 수치를 보였으며 음성강도의 경우 리듬발화 시 가장 높은 수치를 보이는 경향성이 발견되었다. 주파수 변동률 및 진폭 변동률의 경우 두 집단 모두 선율발화 시 유의미하게 가장 낮은 수치를 보였으나 일반 성인과는 달리 뇌성마비 성인의 경우 리듬발화 시 주파수 변동률 수치가 가장 높게 나타나 두 집단 사이에 상이한 양상이 나타났다. 두 집단 간의 발화과제 별 음성 특성을 비교한 결과, 기본주파수, 음성강도 모두 뇌성마비성인집단이 일반성인집단에 비해 낮은 수치를 보였으며 주파수 변동률 및 진폭 변동률은 일반 성인집단에 비해 유의미하게 높은 수치를 보였다. 결론적으로 뇌성마비 성인의 경우 음악요소가 적용된 발화과제 수행 시 일반성인과는 다른 음향학적 양상이 나타날 수 있음을 확인하였다. 본 연구 결과는 뇌성마비 성인에게 리듬 혹은 선율이 제공될 경우 어떠한 음성 특성이 나타나게 되는지에 대한 경향성을 보여주었으며 발화 시 적용된 음악요소에 따라 나타나는 음성 특성에 대한 정보를 제공해주는 기초자료로 사용 될 수 있다. ; The purpose of this study is to investigate what vocal characteristics appear after providing 20 adults with cerebral palsy(CP) and 20 normal adults with three tasks(speech, chanting, singing). This study dealt with data of fundamental frequency, voice intensity, jitter, and shimmer by utilizing praat program. The result of analysis based on each group's tasks revealed that they both showed highest data when singing. In the case of intensity, they showed highest data in the chanting. In regards to jitter and shimmer, as both groups showed the most significant statistical results when singing, the quality of voice was most improved. As a result of comparison between two group's voice data, it was found that CP adults had lower data compared to normal adults and showed higher jitter data than normal adults. Moreover, unlike normal adults, CP adults showed the highest jitter and shimmer data when chanting. In conclusion, in case of adults of CP, vocalization aspects according to musical elements can be appear in different way in contrast with normal adults. Also, this study can be utilized as a basic research to provide information about vocal characteristics following music elements selected in vocalization.
