The majority of people’s morning, afternoon, and evening, which constitute a day is repetitive and characterized by a definite pattern. Although each person’s day is defined by individual activities and agenda, from a universal viewpoint, it can be said that people generally start their day by waking up in the morning, engaging in meals three times daily, and falling asleep by nightfall. These activities are routine and have been repeated continuously to the point where it has become habitual. Thus, there is the possibility that these “monotonous daily activities” are not only a reflection of one self but also the factor that makes us feel a sense of closeness to everyday life. If so, is it possible that the days in our lives are indistinguishable and essentially the same? “The bus that always departs on time was 2 minutes late today.” “Because I did not have enough change, I could not buy the newspaper that I normally read everyday.” Even in the seemingly indifferent days of our lives, there exists “inevitable distinctions”. As we proceed on with our day, repeating what appear to be ordinary daily tasks, we stumble upon chance occurrences that present each day with trivial differences that enable us to make new experiences. The researcher of this study was interested in these repetitive daily patterns and the differences that arise within the day-to-day activities. To the data collected during the study, the researcher intends to attach a specific methodology and new meaning in order to find a design method that will help in the process of creating a visual representation of what they found in their study. The order of significance that this research hopes to emphasize is the idea that people underestimate and do not acknowledge the importance and worth of a normal day and it’s everyday functions. The flow of repetitive and continually fixated behavior arising within the norm have become so identifiable with each day in our life that we do not attach much meaning to the familiarity of our livelihood that we have adapted to. Therefore, using the data found from the continuous circumstances springing from the observations that were made with the focus on repetitive acts, this research strives to show that “everyday is unique”. Likewise, people become the main existence of the limitations of the flow of time as the foundation of their daily life pattern sets is based on a cyclic time structure. Thus, they not only fail to notice the small changes but also beings to bury the fact of their own existence. Setting these aspects as the basis of our daily life, we are able to reflect upon the daily behaviors that we have become so accustomed to and in doing so, we hope to attach significance to what we consider a day’s normal functions. Through this, we seek to express the daily manifolds and fading existence that occurs from the subtle differences of everyday life. Accordingly, through the minute/infinitesimal distinctive changes detected within the monotonous acts of our “everyday behavior”, this research aims to rediscover the essence of a day perceived to be humdrum and meaningless. Furthermore, by rediscovering the significance of one’s day, there is worth in the fact that we are given the chance to reexamine and reflect upon our fading existence.-
