SDSS 측광 자료를 이용한 우리 은하 내 구상성단들의 수평계열항성 연구

Abstract

본 논문은 Sloan Digital Sky Survey (SDSS) 관측 자료를 바탕으로 우리은하 내 밝은 구상성단들의 수평계열 기준계열선을 (g−r, r), (g−i, r), (g−z, r), (u−g, r) 색등급도 상에서 구했다. 이를 우리은하 내 다른 구상성단에 적용해 성단들의 거리지수를 측정해보았다. 밝은 구상성단들로부터 구한 수평계열 기준계열선을 ugriz 시스템 색등급도 상에서 여러 이론적 모형들과 비교해 모형들이 ugriz 시스템에서 신뢰 가능한지 검사했다. 산개성단 M67과 NGC 6791에 대한 u'g'r'i'z' 측광 자료를 SDSS ugriz 측광 값으로 변환시킬 때 발생하는 계통오차를 계산했다. 이 값은 u'g'r'i'z' 측광 자료를 이용하여 SDSS ugriz 시스템에서 측광이 어려운 별들에 대해 연구할 때 유용하게 사용될 수 있다.;We present a set of fiducial sequences of horizontal-branch stars in bright Galactic globular clusters on color-magnitude diagrams in multiple color indices (g−r, g−i, g−z, u−g), using Sloan Digital Sky Survey (SDSS) observation data of An et al. (2008). We compare the fiducial lines with other globular clusters of SDSS observation, and calibrate distance modulus of those clusters. We also use the observed fiducial sequences to test theoretical models from various groups. We convert u'g'r'i'z' photometry of Clem et al. (2007, 2008) to SDSS ugriz system and compare that with the observation data of An et al. (2008). The calibrate difference of each filter between observations of Clem et al. (2007, 2008) and An et al. (2008) is within the observation error, so the converted ugriz photometry from Clem et al. (2007, 2008) can be used for future bright cluster studies.
