인성 함양을 위한 초등 음악 감상 지도 모형 개발

Abstract

본 연구는 초등 음악과 교육과정에 제시된 성취 기준을 분석하고 학년별 음악 요소와 예술 인성 요소와의 관련성을 찾아 인성 함양을 위한 음악 감상 지도 모형을 개발 ․ 제시하는 데 목적이 있다. 지도 모형 개발을 위해 학년별 음악 감상 영역의 성취 기준을 분석하였으며, 음악의 미적 가치 함양 중심의 수업 단계에 따라 음악 활동을 구성하고 관련 인성 요소를 접목시켰다. 개발된 지도모형의 타당성 확보를 위해 인성-음악, 초등교육 전문가, 초등 음악교육 관련 전문가 5명에게 검증을 받았다. 평가 내용은 인성적 측면, 교육 현장 적용 가능성, 활용 난이도의 세 영역에 관한 문항으로 구성하였으며, 리커트의 5점 척도로 점수를 기록하도록 하였다. 개발된 지도 모형의 특징은 첫째, 성취 기준 중심의 지도 모형을 제시하여 교사가 실제 교과서 내용에 따라 융통성 있게 활동 방법을 선정 ․ 적용할 수 있도록 하였다. 둘째, 음악 교과의 예술적 특성을 고려하여 예술 인성의 하위 요소를 중심으로 지도 모형을 개발 ․ 제시하였다. 셋째, 가장 최근의 개정 교육과정인 2012 초등 음악과의 성취 기준을 중심으로 지도 모형을 개발하여, 앞으로 개발될 음악 교과서에 적용 가능한 지침이 될 수 있도록 하였다. 검증 결과, 전문가는 개발된 지도 모형이 추상적 개념인 ‘인성 함양’의 내용을 음악 활동을 통해 구체적으로 제시하고 있어 음악 감상 수업의 어려움을 경감시키는데 유용하게 쓰일 수 있을 것이라 평가하였으며, 인성의 개인적 측면 외에 관계적, 사회적 측면의 함양이 가능한 음악 활동이 좀 더 보완 ․ 제시되는 것이 필요하다는 제안을 하였다. 본 연구의 의의는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 지도 모형은 교사와 학습자의 요구를 해결하기 위한 음악 감상 지도 자료를 제공할 것이다. 둘째, 인성 지도상의 어려움을 음악 감상 활동을 통해 경감시킬 수 있다. 셋째, 개발된 지도 모형에 따라 구성된 음악 감상 수업은 교과서의 다양성으로 인한 지도 결과의 차이를 극복하는데 도움을 줄 수 있다.;The purpose of this study is to develop and show a teaching model that aspires to cultivate character in music appreciation at the elementary grade level. This teaching model is based on the analysis of achievement standards from the 2012 revised music curriculum, and also relations between musical and arts-character elements. The validity of this teaching model was confirmed by five music education professionals: an arts researcher at the Korea Institute for Curriculum and Education, music therapist with arts-character experience, master teacher of elementary music education, and two general teachers majoring in music education. Using a checklist (5-point Likert’s Scale), these five experts were asked to individually evaluate this teaching model based on a criteria consisting of the aspects of character, education field applicability, and application difficulty. This teaching model developed as the result of a study characterized by the following: First, it helps teachers choose and flexibly apply activity strategies. Second, it focuses on presenting and teaching arts-character content that greatly fosters Art. Lastly, it was created with the foundation of the 2012 revised music curriculum (the newest curriculum). Thus, the music education experts that evaluated it can duly assist teachers in understanding the concept of character-cultivation through comprehensive music activities and reducing the difficulty in preparing music appreciation lesson plans. In addition, they suggested to supplement appreciation activities with interpersonal and sociocultural aspects. In conclusion, this study has great significance. First, it will be able to provide guidance material that can surely assist in solving demands made by teachers and students. Second, it can reduce difficulty in guiding and fostering students through the utilization of music appreciation activities. Lastly, by applying this teaching model development in the classroom, the majority of students will be able to reach similar high achievement regardless of music textbook and teaching style.
