Edvard Grieg Violin Sonata in c minor No.3 Op.45의 연구 및 분석

Abstract

Edvard Grieg는 20세기를 전후하여 북유럽의 민족주의적 특성을 잘 보여주는 한 사람으로 노르웨이 민속음악과 국민성을 음악으로 잘 승화시킨 작곡가이다. 특히 대표작으로 노르웨이어 가사로 된 <페르 귄트 모음곡>과 농민 춤곡 <슬래터>에서 민족적 특징이 뚜렷하게 나타난다. 그의 음악에 항상 느낄 수 있는 것은 노르웨이의 민속노래와 춤의 요소이며, 선율과 화성의 선법적 변화, 고대 노르웨이 현악기에서 영향 받은 ‘드론 베이스 Drone Bass' 그리고 3/4박자 리듬과 6/8박자 리듬의 매혹적 배합이 등이 자주 사용되는 기법이다. Edvard Grieg의 작품 중 Violin Sonata in C minor No.3 op.45는 1887년에 작곡된 곡으로써 노르웨이의 전통적 색채와 풍부한 음악적 영감이 어우러진 그리그의 대표적인 작품으로 평가된다. 그가 작곡한 3개의 Violin Sonata 중 본 연구 주제인 3번이 특히 민족적 정서가 뚜렷하게 나타난다. 본 논문에서는 연주자로서 곡을 연주하는데 필요한 시대적배경과 그의 생애와 작품을 분석. 연구하여 곡을 더 잘 이해하며 보다 깊이 있는 연주의 토대를 쌓는 것에 목적을 두고 있다. ;This dissertation is the study and analysis of Violin sonata No.3 Op.45. The purpose is to help to understand about Edvard Grieg and his pieces' characteristic. In 1843, Edvard Grieg was born in Bergen, Norway. He had composed the music which included nationalism feature since he contacted the Nordraak. He was a musician who loved his country. He had been respected as the first musician of the modern nationalism. Also, he was called as 'Chopin of Northern Europe'. He composed many pieces which use folk dance-music rhythm and harmony of Norway. He made three sonatas in his life. No.3 sonata was composed after he had succeed as a composer in 1887. The sonata is one of the most famous sonatas. There are huge differences between this sonata and earlier two. Earlier two sonatas were composed in major key but this sonata was made in minor key. He choose minor key to express better tension or grand. Sonata No.3 consists of three movements. The first has a free sonata style and three themes. The second has three sections and variation tempo. The third has a new sonata style that contains two themes and a short coda. There are no development sections in the first and third movements. Edvard Grieg used short motive, pedal point, chromatic scale. I intended to understand about the composer and the character through this dissertation. This helps you play the music well.
