남‧북한 성인의 성역할 태도에 관한 비교연구

Abstract

본 연구의 목적은 남한성인과 북한이탈주민의 성역할 태도를 비교하고 성역할태도에 미치는 요인을 분석하는 것이다. 이러한 연구결과를 토대로 이러한 차이를 가진 남한성인과 북한이탈주민이 서로를 이해하고 남북한의 평화적인 소통하며 생활할 수 있는 기초자료를 제공하고자 한다. 이 조사는 2013년 4월 초부터 5월 중순까지 진행되었으며 남한 수도권에 거주하는 성인과 북한을 이탈하여 이곳에 정착한 북한이탈주민을 대상으로 각각 180부의 설문지를 배부하여 남한성인 171부, 북한이탈주민 145부, 총 316부를 본 연구의 최종 분석 자료로 사용하였다. 남한성인과 북한이탈주민의 집단 간의 차이를 보기위해 교차분석을 실시하였고, 평균과 표준편차를 산출하고 t검증, 이원변량분석, 회귀분석을 사용하였다. 본 연구의 분석결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째. 남북한의 전반적인 성역할태도에서 남한성인이 북한성인보다 더 현대적인 성역할태도를 지니고 있음을 나타났다. 둘째, 성별에 따른 남한성인과 북한이탈주민의 성역할 태도 영향에 대해 살펴보면, 남북한 여자성인이 남북한 남자성인보다 모든 요인에서 더 현대적인 성역할 태도를 지닌 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 결혼상태에 따른 남한성인과 북한이탈주민 성역할 태도 영향에 대해 살펴보면, 남북한 성인은 전반적으로 미혼성인이 기혼성인보다 더 현대적인 성역할 태도를 보였다. 그 양상은 성별분업의식과 남성우월의식 요인에 있어 더 뚜렷이 나타났다. 넷째, 연령간의 차이를 살펴보면, 남북한 성인 모두 성역할고정관념, 성별분업의식, 남성우월의식 모두 20대가 가장 현대적인 성역할태도를 지녔다. 다섯째, 성역할 태도에 영향을 미치는 요인을 살펴보면, 북한성인보다 남한성인이 성역할태도가 현대적인 태도를 보였고, 여성보다는 남성일수록, 연령이 높을수록 사회 경제적 계층이 낮을수록, 더 전통적인 성역할태도를 지니고 있는 것으로 나타났다.;This thesis is a study on sex-role attitudes in South Korea as compared to residents from North Korea. According to research significant data can be used to understand the two groups. 170 South Korean participants and 140 residents from North Korea of various ages, gender, and marriage was surveyed from early April 2013 to the middle of May 2013. The comparative analysis was calculated by frequencies, percentiles, and ANOVA of Statistics. The results show that there is a significant difference between South Koreans and Koreans from North Korea. 1. All modern attitudes of natives is significantly higher than the other group. 2. More specifically, female Koreans both were found to have higher presentism than male Koreans. 3. Married men and women from North Korea showed more traditional attitudes than other members from the country. 4. I found that the elements, level of society, level of ages and sex-roll attitudes were rated even higher with people in their 20s than those in their 30s, 40s or 50s. Each of the three studies provided additional, less directly comparable, information about the sex-roll attitudes in South Korea as compared to Koreans from North Korea.
