전문 음악치료사의 윤리신념과 행동에 대한 변인연구

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate present ethical condition of music therapist and to research the relation between variables related to population sociological, education and training background, and ethical decision making; and ethical belief and ethical behaviors of music therapist. It was carried out a survey targeting 263 music therapists who finished education more than completed university course and the graduate course majored in music therapy, and analyzed total 120 questionnaires which were returned. To measure reliability of ethical belief and behavior scale of music therapist, Chronbach's α coefficient was calculated and it was carried out frequency analysis, descriptive statistics, cross analysis, T-test and one way ANOVA per each research problem by using SPSS Win 15.0 program. As a research results, the variables to show a significant difference with ethical belief of music therapist were experience of supervision and progress method and ethical decision making criterion. That is, in case to have an supervision experience, higher ethical belief in the area of secret security and privacy protect. In the case of a group to get supervision through documents or records in the way to progress supervision, it was appeared the total score of high ethical belief. In addition, in case of group to get help to solve problems in ethical confliction situation, it was appeared higher ethical belief than other groups. The variables to show significant difference with ethical behavior of music therapist were career, experience to participate in ethic class and seminar, cognition degree of ethics code, experience of supervision, number of supervision, and ethical conflict solving method. That is, longer the career of music therapist, higher rate of ethical behavior in the area to practice professional competence of therapist and structuralization of therapeutic relationship. In addition, in case to have an experience of supervision, higher rate of ethical behavior; it was appeared that more the number of supervision, higher rate of ethical behavior in the area of professional competence of therapist. At the point that researches related to ethic of Korean music therapist are insufficient, it has significance to provide basic information for ethical education of music therapist and to search methods to increase ethicality of music therapist by comprehending variables related to ethical beliefs and behaviors.;본 연구는 음악치료사의 윤리적 현황을 조사하고, 음악치료사의 개인적 특성, 교육훈련배경, 윤리적 의사결정 특성이 윤리신념, 윤리행동과 어떠한 관련성이 있는지 알아보는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 음악치료 전공의 대학 및 대학원 과정 수료 이상 교육을 마친 263명의 음악치료사를 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하여 회수된 총 120부의 설문지를 분석하였다. 음악치료사의 윤리신념과 행동 척도의 신뢰도 측정을 위하여 Chronbach's α 계수를 산출하였고, SPSS Win 15.0 프로그램을 사용하여 각 연구문제마다 빈도분석, 기술통계, 교차분석, T 검정, 일원변량분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과를 살펴보면, 음악치료사의 윤리신념과 유의미한 차이를 보이는 변인은 슈퍼비전 경험과 진행방식, 윤리적 의사결정기준이었다. 즉, 슈퍼비전을 받은 경험이 있는 경우, 비밀보장과 사생활 보호 영역에서 윤리신념이 더 높게 나타났다. 슈퍼비전의 진행 방식에 있어서 서면이나 기록을 통하여 슈퍼비전을 받는 집단의 경우, 윤리신념 전체 점수가 높게 나타났다. 또한 음악치료사 윤리강령을 기준으로 삼아 윤리적 갈등 상황에서 문제 해결의 도움을 받는 집단의 경우, 윤리신념 인식이 타 집단보다 더 높게 나타났다. 음악치료사의 윤리행동과 유의미한 차이를 보이는 변인은 경력, 윤리수업 및 세미나 참여 경험, 윤리강령 인지정도, 슈퍼비전의 경험, 슈퍼비전의 횟수, 윤리적 갈등 해결 방식이었다. 즉, 음악치료사의 경력이 길수록 치료적 관계 구조화, 치료사의 전문적 능력 실천 영역에서 윤리행동 유발률이 높았다. 또한 슈퍼비전 경험이 있는 경우 윤리행동 유발률이 더 높았으며, 슈퍼비전 횟수가 많을수록 치료사의 전문적 능력 영역에서 윤리행동의 유발률이 더 높게 나타났다. 국내 음악치료사 윤리 관련 연구가 부족한 시점에서 윤리신념과 행동에 관련이 있는 변인을 파악하여 음악치료사 윤리교육을 위한 기초자료를 제공하고, 음악치료사의 윤리성을 향상시키는 방안을 모색하는 데에 의의가 있다.
