여행풍경을 통한 심상표현

Abstract

본인은 어릴 적부터 자주 여행을 하였다. 여행은 본인에게 새로운 환경을 통해 만나는 자유의 출구였으며 삶의 원동력이었다. 여행을 바탕으로 한 본격적인 작업은 대학교 졸업 후 본인이 진정 원하는 것을 찾기 위해 떠난 여행에서부터 시작되었다. 새로운 환경에서 접하게 되는 이색적인 사물과 풍경은 본인의 내적 호기심과 흥미를 자극하는 소재가 되었고, 일상의 풍경에 머물렀던 한정된 주제와 소재를 넓혀주는 계기가 되었다. 여행지에서 경험하는 색채와 풍경은 본인의 삶에 생기를 주고 동시에 편안한 마음을 느끼게 하여 작업을 하면서 심리적 감정을 작품에 반영할 수 있게 하였다. 이러한 여행 풍경을 통한 작업을 연구하기에 앞서 여행을 떠나게 되는 인간의 동기를 심리학적으로 살펴보았고 여행이 예술가들에게 정서적으로 준 변화와 그 결과로 만들어지는 작품 세계에 대한 연구를 토대로 여행이 본인의 작업에 어떠한 영향을 주었는지 알아보고자 하였다. 방법적인 연구로는 본인의 작품 속에서 적극적으로 활용한 다시점(多視點)의 개념과 조형방식의 근원을 전통 화론에서 찾아보았다. 또한 작품에 색채를 강하게 사용함으로써 본인의 즉흥적 감정과 잠재된 의식이 강한 색채로 발현되는 영향관계를 밝혔다. 색채는 주로 장지에 분채를 사용하였다. 켜켜이 쌓아올리는 과정은 여행의 추억을 되새기는 계기를 마련하게 하였다. 본 논문을 작성하면서 그 동안의 작업들을 하는 과정을 통해 본인이 경험한 여행풍경을 통해 심리안정을 얻고 자아의식을 완성하고 있다는 것을 깨달았고 앞으로 진행될 작업의 방향도 여행을 통해 설정하고자 한다. ;I have traveled since childhood. Traveling was driving force of life as well as a gateway of freedom. Granting the true meaning of the traveling begans after the University graduation. Exotic objects and the scenery encountered in the strange environment triggered my inner curiosity and expanded themes and materials that were confined to ordinary scenery and objects. Colors and landscapes from traveling sites offer vitality as well as psychological peace that inspires my work. At first this paper has explored the psychological motivation of traveling. Such exploration also studies how traveling effects own art work through studying how traveling effects number of artists. The study took the method 다시점(多視點, da-si-jum) which observes the target as traveling through moving observation point and compares the works of landscape painting and my own art works. The study also found usage of vivid color in my work is influenced by improvised emotions and latent conscious. In materials and techniques Bun-chae on paper screen was mostly used. Such process broughts pleasant memories of traveling as well. During This study, I gain psychological well-being through traveling landscape and realize that I am completing self-consciousness. I will continue to explore traveling landscape to establish my work direction.
