표정과 몸의 움직임을 통한 감정표현

Abstract

본 연구는 ‘감정을 어떻게 표현할 것인가'라는 의문에서 시작하였다. 감정이란 어떤 현상이나 일을 접할 때 느끼게 되는 마음가짐이나 기분, 심리상태를 뜻한다. 사람들은 슬픔, 즐거움, 외로움 등의 다양한 감정을 가지고 살아간다. 감정은 다양한 상황에서 발생 가능하며, 언제나 우리의 삶 속에 함께 자리한다. 그리고 그러한 감정들은 사람의 눈빛, 표정, 말, 몸짓을 통해 표현하고 전달된다. 본인은 감정이 표현되는 방법 중에서도 ‘얼굴 표정’과 ‘몸의 움직임’에 집중하여 관찰, 연구하였다. 본 논문은 감정표현과 색채에 대한 연구이다. 인간은 자신의 감정 상태를 외부로 표현하며 살아간다. 얼굴의 미세한 근육 움직임과 피부 등은 표정을 더욱 섬세하고, 풍성하게 드러내준다. 또한 몸짓은 마음을 표현하는 신체언어로써 그 역할을 한다. 따라서 감정을 표현하는 얼굴과 몸의 움직임은 인간에 대한 연구라 여겨 우선 인간의 감정과 그 표현 방법에 대해 연구하였다. 감정과 정서의 심리상태가 표현되는 얼굴 표정에 대해 살펴보고자 하였다. 자신의 생각과 희망을 몸의 움직임을 통해 표현 할 수 있다고 생각하여 몸짓이 보여주는 의미에 대해 알아보고자 하였다. 본인의 작품에서 색은 표정과 몸짓에 힘을 실어주는 구성을 해준다. 색채와 감정의 연관성과 색채의 심리에 대해 탐색하였다. 조형적 방법연구에서는 우선 감정이 드러나는 얼굴 표정을 그렸다. 얼굴을 확대해서 그려 표정에 집중하였다. 다음으로 인간의 생각과 감정이 반영된 몸의 움직임을 표현하였다. 맑고 투명한 빛을 닮은 색들의 혼합으로 내면의 감정을 은은하게 보여주고자 하였다. 마지막으로 여백을 일반적으로 동양화에서 얘기하는 비워져있지만 가득 찬 공간이 아니라, 빈 것 자체로써 상실감과 공허함의 표현으로 그렸다. 본 연구를 통해 본인 작품에 대한 이론적 정리와 함께 앞으로의 발전적인 작업방향을 모색하는 기회가 되고자 한다.;This study was started at the question for 'How can we express our feelings?'. Emotion means our attitude on mind, feelings and psychological state when we encounter certain conditions or situations. People live with a variety of emotions such as sadness, joy and loneliness. Feelings can occur in a variety of situations and always have a place in our lives together. And those feelings are expressed and passed on through the people's eyes, facial expressions, words and gestures. I have studied to focus on the 'facial expressions' and 'body movements' among the way of that emotions area expressed. This paper is a study on the expression of emotion and color. A human lives with external expressions of their emotional state. The fine muscle movements of the face and skin reveal the expressions more delicate and rich. And gestures take its role as the body language to express the mind. So I considered the movements of body and face to express emotions as research on the human, I first studied about human emotion and the way of its expression. I examined about the facial expressions being expressed the psychological state of feelings and emotions. I wanted to find out the meaning of gesture to think their thoughts and hopes can be expressed through the movement of the body. Colors allow configuration to empower facial expressions and gestures to my works. The correlation between colors and emotions, about the psychology of colors were searched. The facial expressions of revealed emotions were painted first for the study of formative methods. It was concentrated on expressions to enlarge a face drawing. Then the movement of body was expressed with the reflections of human thoughts and feelings. The mix of colors like a crystal-clear light was used for showing delicate inner feelings. Finally, a blank space was painted empty space itself as an expression of loss and emptiness not a space full of something even emptied generally speaking the blank space in oriental paintings. This research was intended to have the opportunity to explore the future development of the working direction along with theoretical definition for my works.
