dc.description.abstractNitrite solution, nitrite and nitrate mixed solution of equimolar concentration were oxidized with 0.01N potassium permanganate or 35% aqueous hydrogen peroxide solution and colored by brucine. The absorbancies of these solutions were investigated in the range of concentration values form 3.0×M at the wave length of 410㎛. When the absorbancy of the standard nitrate solution was compares with the absorbancy of the sample solution at the same concentration of each solution, reasonable results were obtained. The lowest detectable concentration of the sample solution was found to be about 2.0×M in the case of using hydrogen peroxide as the oxidizing agent.-
