유아의 리듬감 향상을 위한 무용 수업모형 연구

Abstract

The childhood is considered very dynamic, important period in learning, and especially characterized as total development in physical aspect. In the latest century, most music educators emphasized rhythm education through physical movements, because they thought rhythm can be educated by dance which is organized based on rhythm. Dance can enhance expression skill and creativeness, which are the most important objective in child education, and can help physical perception of rhythnm by child. From that point, dance can be the most effective education method. This study has a purpose to develop comprehensive education for child by suggesting child experience response process, perception process and recognition process of rhythm in aspect of perceptional, physical, emotional and social development. This study is based on Carl Orff(1895~1982), who emphasized rhythm education, thought musical education is based on rhythm education and presented education method which include learning required technique through natural rhythm expression and physical movement by language, movement and percussion instrument. The study contents for this purpose, first, investigate child dance education and concept of rhythm and its importance, second, investigate Carl Orff's life, his philosophy of education and education in Schulwerk, and third, present education model for child based on four rhythmic elements. Referring to various related books, I present rhythmic sense enhancing education model for child age 6-7 as follows. First, the object of this model is to present comprehensive art education opportunity which include experiencing enhancement of rhythmic sense, expression and creativeness by perception of rhythmic elements. Second, basic elements of this model are beat, tempo, meter and dynamics. And based on those elements, this model is composed of 5 steps(Introducing concepts-Investigating concepts-Technique development-Composing rhythm-Finale). Third, to introduce the subject of this model, instructor guide children to be the principal of activities in liberal atmosphere by using physical expression, language approach, percussion instrument, various music, creative rhythm expression, painting approach and game approach. This model suggest creative rhythm education in aspect of movement education, and can contribute child development in various aspects by efforts combining dance with many other arts on axis of rhythm. More study is needed about rhythmic sense enhancing program for child age 6-7, and continuous research and development for systematic and common dance education program. ;인간 발달 과정에 있어 가장 역동적이고 교육적으로 중요한 시기인 유아기에서 리듬이라는 요소는 음악적 발달 단계상 가장 중요하게 다루어진다. 20C의 많은 음악 교육자들은 신체 움직임을 통한 리듬 교육을 강조하였는데 통합적인 예술 교육의 연결 고리인 리듬은 움직임을 기본 요소로 삼고 있는 무용을 통해 자연스럽게 교육될 수 있다. 그러한 점에서 무용은 음악적 리듬의 개념을 신체로서 인지하고 유아기 교육의 가장 큰 목표인 표현성과 창의성을 함양시킬 수 있다는 측면에서 매우 효과적인 지도 방법이다. 따라서 본 연구는 요소적 음악(Elementary Music) 즉 언어, 움직임 그리고 타악기를 통한 리듬 지도 방법을 제시한 독일의 음악학자 Carl Orff(1895~1982)의 방법을 적용한 무용교육을 통해 인지적, 신체적, 정서적, 사회적 측면의 발달뿐만 아니라 예술의 본질적인 구성 요소인 리듬에 대한 반응과 지각, 인지의 과정을 경험 함으로서 타 예술과의 통합적인 교육의 기회를 꾀하는데 그 목적을 두고 있다. 이를 위한 연구는 문헌 연구를 중심으로 첫째, 본 지도모형의 근원인 유아 무용 교육과 리듬의 개념 및 중요성과 둘째, 오르프의 생애와 교육이념 및 슐베르크 지도 방법을 알아보고 셋째, 본 연구의 결과인 4가지 리듬 요소를 주제로 한 유아무용 수업모형을 개발한 결과 다음과 같다. 첫째, 본 지도 모형의 목적은 움직임과 음악에 내재되어 있는 리듬 요소의 인지를 통하여 유아의 리듬감 향상과 표현성, 창의성의 함양을 경험 할 수 있는 포괄적인 예술 교육을 하는 데 있다. 둘째, 지도 내용은 박, 빠르기, 박자, 셈여림의 4가지 리듬 요소이며, 이러한 요소를 주제로 삼아 개념 소개 - 개념 탐구 - 기술 개발 - 리듬 창작 - 마무리의 과정으로 진행된다. 셋째, 본 지도 모형의 주제를 지도하기 위해 교사는 신체 표현 활동, 언어적 접근, 타악기 연주, 다양한 음악 청취, 창의적 리듬 표현, 도구 사용, 게임의 방법을 사용하여 자유로운 분위기에서 유아 중심의 활동이 주가 될 수 있도록 배려 한다. 이상과 같이 개발된 유아의 리듬감 향상을 위한 무용수업 모형은 다양한 접근법의 사용을 통한 통합 교육으로서의 창의적 리듬 교육 모형을 제시한 것이다. 시·청각적인 교육적 경험을 제공함으로써 유아의 리듬감 향상은 물론 신체적, 정서적, 지적, 사회적인 다양한 측면의 발달을 기대할 수 있고 음악과 무용의 공통된 요소인 리듬을 중심으로 통합 교육으로서의 결합을 시도 한다는 점에서 본 연구의 의의를 갖는다.
