現代政治에 있어서의 人間疏外에 관한 硏究

Abstract

本稿는 政治的인 面에서 나타나는 「疎外」에 과난 E. Fromm의 思想을 硏究하려는 것이다. 現代社會에 있어서의 「人間疎外」라는 現象이 차지하는 主要性에 비추어 볼때 가장 많은 讀者를 가진 것으로 傳해지는 E.Fromm의 思想을 硏究하는 것이 바람직하다고 思料되어 本 論題를 택하게 되었다. 第Ⅰ章 緖論에서는 本 硏究의 目的과 硏究範圍 및 方法을 論述하였다. 第Ⅱ章에서는 자본주의가 現代社會에 미친 영향 및 자본주의가 「疎外」를 助長시킨 原因등을 說明하고 「疎外」의 意味를 論述하였다. 第Ⅲ章에서는 다음과 같은 내용의 現代社會에 있어서의 구체적인 疎外相을 論述하였다. A. 政治生活에 있어서의 疎外 B. 組織生活에 있어서의 疎外 C. 소비生活에 있어서의 疎外 D. 自由에서의 逃避 第Ⅳ章에서는 E.Fromm의 著書에 나타난 가장 重要한 思想을 硏究하여 人間疎外에 대한 解決策을 論述하였다. Fromm은 「疎外」에 따르는 道德的인 問題의 解決은 오로지 完全한 理解와 眞正한 사랑에 있다고 본다. 經濟的인 面에서 오는 疎外는 工場에서 노동자들이 眞正한 意味에서의 참여로서 防止할 수 있다 고용주나 대고용인은 自己自身들 뿐만 아니라 社會全體의 利益을 위하여 일해야 한다. 政治的으로는 國民 각자가 自國의 政治事情을 理解하는데 必要한 소수집단을 組織하여 충분한 정보와 사실을 파악하고 一般 유권자들이 決定에 直接的인 영향을 미칠수 있게 함으로서 疎外感을 克服할수 있다. 文化的으로는 敎育을 實生活에 適合하게 하고 人類文化의 모든 分野에서 창조력을 기를수 있도록 해야한다. 學生들로 하여금 비판적이며 獨立的 思考力을 기를 수 있도록 해서 眞正한 民主主義가 可能하도록 해야한다고 E.Fromm은 주장하고 있다. 第Ⅴ章 結論에서는 本稿의 內容을 要約하였고 Fromm의 思想에 대해서 論評을 加하였다.;This study intends to examine a few central ideas, put forward by Erich Fromm in several of his books, about alienation, mainly taken in the political sense of the word. As the phenomenon of alienation plays a very important role in modern society, we thought it useful to study the ideas of one of the most widely read authors about the topic. Chapter Ⅰ presents a brief justification why I choose this subject. It also offers some remarks about my method of investigation and about the purpose of this paper. Chapter Ⅱ explains how capitalism affected modern society and can be considered to be the cause of much alienation. The notion "alienation" gets more strictly defined. Chapter Ⅲ explains how modern society tends to "bureau-eratize", and "computarize " modern man. He is led to waste money and time because he feels inclined to "escape his freedom" and to shun his responsibility towards himself, his fellowmen and towards political life. Chapter Ⅳ expands a little about the most important idea we find in Fromm's book. To him only a return to well understand and really lived love offers a solution for the moral problem of alienation. Economically alienation can only be stopped if there is real participation of the laborer in the factories. Employers and employees shouldnt just work for their own profit but for the whole of society. Politically people have to be made aware of what is important by the formation of small but carefully organized units in which each individual gets the information necessary to understand the political situation of his country. The education, should fit real life, should induce to creativity in all fields of human culture. It should teach the students how to learn to think critically and independently in order to make real democracy possible. Chapter Ⅴ presents a summary of the above study. Some concluding remarks are made about the value of Fromm's publications.
