전통 잠두(簪頭)의 문양분석과 그에 따르는 복식디자인 연구

Abstract

The matter to represent Korean-style formative sense on dress emerges as a significant assignment to us from an aspect of internationalization of Korean fashion. This does not mean a process of reappearance of the traditional dress style, but is an image expression of the original core that is mingled within senses of the Korean, and refers to a representation of Korean-style figurative sense. This study, therefore, made our traditional ornamental hairpin a motif for Korean's formative consciousness, hence making use of it to modernistic Korean dress beauty. This course included: first, it required to secure knowledge based on theoretical background about our traditional ornamental hairpin -- i.e. historical origin, every sorts of custom related to the use of it, and its usage --: second, total 130 pieces of material were collected among existing heritage and characteristics of them were analyzed by material, pattern and line, extracting and pigeonholding their formative characteristics especially by depicting their concrete forms: thrid, based on thereby begot products, the esthetic characteristic of our traditional hairpin was made grafted together on the modern dress design. Especially, esthetic characteristics from 8 pieces were chosen to make use of them to an application of new expressional technique to a genre of so-called 'Daily Wear', paying to it differentiation from other designs. This interest and attempt of the study has been started from a conviction the most folkloristic could be the most universal and that the development of Korean-style design could be realized most easily through utilization of Korean dress beauty. Further, based on 8 artpieces produced, matters to which efforts must be paid for desirable modernistic utilization of Korean traditional beauty and for promotion of international status of Korean fashion were suggested: that is, for effective modernistic utilization of traditional dress beauty, the structure and content of traditional beauty should be grasped: the work, therefore, should carry out theoretical assistance and analytical valuation side by side. Here, it must be attempted on a state digested enough international senses and accomplishments. And, there is a need, it may be said, to begot the modernistic graft of Korean traditional beauty that may bring forth international sympathy, by understanding the fashion trend of the times and by culturing international eyes of discrimination.;한국적인 조형감각을 복식에 표현하는 일은 한국 패션의 국제화라는 측면에서 중요한 과제로 부각되고 있다. 이는 전통 복식의 재현을 의미 하지 않으며 한국인의 감각속에 녹아있는 원형 에 대한 이미지표현이며 한국적인 조형 감각의 표출을 말한다. 따라서 본 연구는 우리의 전통 잠(簪)을 한국인의 조형의식적 모티브로 삼아 현대적 한국복식미에 활용한 것이다. 이러한 과정은 첫째, 우리전통비녀에 관한 이론적 배경을 토대로한 의식을 필요로 한다. 역 사적 측면에서의 유래와 비녀 사용에 얽힌 갖가지 풍습, 사용법이 그것이다. 둘째, 현존하는 유물가운데 총 130점을 자료수집하여 이를 재료, 문양, 선등으로 그 특성을 분석하였다. 특히 구체적인 형태를 묘사하므로써 비녀의 조형적 특성을 뽑아내고 이를 정리시켰다. 셋째, 이렇게 얻어진 산물을 근거로, 비녀의 미적특성을 현대복식디자인과 접목시켰다. 특히 8점의 미적특성을 선별하여 활용하였으며 데일리웨어(Dailywear)라는 장르에 새로운 표현기법을 응용하여 타디자인과의 차별성을 두었다. 이러한 본 연구의 관심과 시도는 가장 민속적인것이 가장 세계적인것이 될 수 있으며, 한국적인 디자인의 개발은 한국복식미의 활용을 통해 가장 쉽게 실현할 수 있다는 확신에서 출발하였다. 더나아가 제작된 작품8점을 토대로 바람직한 한국전통미의 현대적 활용과 한국패션의 국제적인 지위향상을 위해 노력해야할 사항을 제시하였다. 즉, 전통 복식미의 효과적 인 현대적 활용을 위해서는 전통미의 구조와 내용을 파악할 것이다. 따라서 한국복식미의 현대적 활용을 위해서는 전통미의 구조와 내용을 파악할 것이다. 따라서 한국복식미의 현대적 활용작업은 이론적 지원과 분석 평가를 병행해야 한다는 점이다. 이때 국제적 소양과 감각을 소화한 상태에서 전통복식미의 현대적 활용이 시도되어져야 하며, 시대적 패션경향을 이해하고 국제적 안목을 함양하여 국제적인 공감을 얻을 수 있는 한국전통미의 현대적 접목을 필요로 한다하겠다.
