記號를 통한 공간의 象徵的 표현에 관한 연구

Abstract

인간은 모든 관념(觀念)과 경험(經驗)들을 시각적으로 상징화(象徵化)하며 존재 하였다. 상징(象徵)은 인간의 존재 수단이자 진보(進步)의 바탕이 되었다. 과거 고대인들은 하늘을 신(神)의 영역으로서 성스러운 것으로 생각하였고 그러한 의식(儀式)은 첫번째 종교적 경험을 유발(誘發)시켰으며 이렇듯 성스러운 관념(觀念)을 구체적으로 상징하고 체계화(體系化)하려는 의도에서 우주적 상징기호(宇宙的 象徵期號) 인 12궁도를 제작하였다. 12궁도(Zodiac)를 연구자의 작품에선 내면 상징(內面象徵)의 지사적 기호(志士的 旗號)로 사용하였으며 그 이미지가 가진 신비로운, 알수없는 우주에 대한 두려움, 호기심(好奇心)등을 표현하는 상징적 이미지로 재현(再現)하였다. 무의식(無意識)적이고 우연적인 작업과정을 통해 본인의 마음속에 내재(內在)되어 있는 감성을 표현하려 하였으며 상징의 화용론적 기능(話用論的 機能)에 의해 개인의 의도된 주관적 상징표현(主觀的 象徵表現)이 상대방의 마음에도 전이(轉移) 될 수 있다는 확신(確信)을 얻었다. 상징은 상징에 부합(附合)하는 생생하고 풍부한 표현을 통해 그 의미를 더욱 깊게 할 수 있으며 상징에 의해 주관적인 표현 언어들이 상대방에게 공감(共感 )되어 질 수 있는 개관적 언어(客觀的 諺語)로 이해되어 질때 상징은 참된 의미(意味)를 지닐 것이다.;Human beings existed, symbolizing all the ideas and experiences visually. Symbol became the existence means and the base of progress of human beings. Past ancients thought the sky as the sacred thing which is the domain of God. And, such consciousness induced the religious experience. And, they manufactured Zodiac which is the universal symbol with the intention to try to symbolize and systematize the sacred ideal like this concrely. The researcher used Zodiac as the digital symbol (or material) in the work of researcher, and reproduced the mysteriousness that the image has and the dread and curiosity etc. about unknowable universe with symbolic image. This researcher tried to express the sensitivity which1 is immanent in my mind through the unconscious and casual work process, and obtained the conviction that the subjective symbol expression that the individual intended may be transmitted to the mind of the other party by the pragmatics function of symbol. Symbol may deepen the meaning all the more, through the vivid and abundant expression to correspond with symbol. And, when the subjective expression languages based on symbol are understood with the objective language to be able to be sympathized to the other party, maybe, symbol will have the real meaning.
