F. Schubert의 "Piano Sonata, Op. 78"과 C. T. Griffes의 "Piano Sonata"에 관한 연구

Abstract

본 논문은 필자의 석사과정 이수를 위한 졸업 연주회의 곡목 중 F. Schubert의 <Piano Sonata, Op.78>과 C. Griffes의 <Piano Sonata>에 대한 분석이다. F. Schubert(1797-1828)는 고전주의에서 낭만주의로 넘어가는 과도기에 활동한 작곡가로, 고전주의 형식의 바탕위에 Schubert 특유의 서정적 선율과 풍부한 화성으로 낭만주의 선구자로서의 특성을 잘 나타내 주고 있다. <Piano Sonata, Op.78>은 전통적인 4악장 구성의 소나타로 제 1악장은 소나타 형식, 제 2악장은 ABA'의 가요 형식, 제 3악장은 AB의 가요 형식, 제 4악장은 론도 형식으로 되어 있으며, 다양한 화성과 반음계적 전조로 화성의 색채감과 서정적 선율이 잘 나타난 작품이다. C. Griffes(1884-1920)는 20C초 미국의 인상파적 낭만주의 작곡가로서, 프랑스 인상주의의 영향을 많이 받았다. <Piano Sonata>는 3악장 구성의 소나타로, 비화성음의 사용, 복합박자, 선적인 화성진행과 불규칙한 phrase construction등의 다양한 texture를 가진 작품이다. 형식은 전통적인 소나타 형식이며, 표제가 없는 절대 음악 작품이다.;This paper is about F. Schubert's Piano Sonata Op.78 and C. T. Griffes's Piano Sonata which were performed on my graduate recital for graduation. F. Schubert(1797-1828) was a famous composer who played major role during the late classical and romantic era. He was a composer who got influenced by classical style and developed his own lyric melody and full harmony which made him a famous composer of the early romantic era. Piano Sonata Op.78 is the most outstanding piece of his entire piano sonata pieces. The Piano Sonata Op.78 has four movements which is traditional form in Sonata. The 1st movement is the Sonata form. The 2nd movement is ABA form. The 3rd movement is AB form. The 4th movement is Rondo form. This piece has various harmony and using dramatic modulation from the begining to the end which shows us the, characteristics of the Romanticism. Another piece "Piano Sonata" was composed by American composer, C. T. Griffes(1884-1920) in early 20th Century C. T. Griffes has got influenced by French Impressionism and late German Romanticism and became famous, for modem Romanticism composer in America. The Piano Sonata consists of 3 movements. The piece contains non-harmonic tone, multi-meter, linier harmonic progression, irregular phrase grouping and that creates various texture which shows atonality. This piece is not programe music style but absolute music style which has Neo-classicism Characteristics.
