기하학적 도형을 응용한 관두의(貫頭衣) 형식의 복식디자인

Abstract

자연의 생태(生態)를 통해 생물의 생명력을 알 수 있듯이, 생동적인 조형예술 작품의 생명력은 그 자체의 고유한 작가의 미의식(美意識)의 세계를 통해 살아 있는 예술로써의 생명력을 알 수 있다. 복식은 조형예술의 한 분야로 인간이 착용함으로써 생명력이 있는 형태를 이루고 인체를 기준으로 하는 입체성을 지닌 공간 조형이다. 그러므로 '옷을 입는다'라는 단순한 차원을 넘어 인체의 움직임에 의해 나타나는 동감(動感)에 따라 입체적 형태를 이루는 조형성이 복식 디자인의 중요한 요소를 이루게 되었다. 본 연구는 간결하고 단순한 특징을 지닌 기하학적 도형의 복합 형태를 모티브로 하여 풍부한 공간감을 지닌 관두의(貫頭衣)형식의 복식 디자인이다. 본 연구의 목적은 평면 패턴이 인체에 입혀졌을 때 형성되는 평면성과 입체성의 조화를 추구하며, 착장법에 의한 기하학적인 면의 자연스러운 분할과 미묘한 색채 및 형태의 구성을 시도하여 보다 더 현대적이며 다양한 가변성(可變性)을 지닌 조형의상을 연구하는 데 있다. 본 연구의 내용 및 방법은 관두의의 정의와 역사적 배경을 문헌을 통하여 고찰하였고, 기하학적 도형의 개념과 도형을 응용한 현대복식을 도형의 형태별로 나누어 표집한 자료 사진을 분석하여 연구하였고, 복식의 조형적 공간성에 대한 고찰과 그에 대한 참고사진을 제시하여 살펴보았다. 작품은 관두의 형식의 T자(字)구조를 토대로 패턴을 구성하여 인체에 직접 입혀 형성되는 조형적 형태를 실험을 통해 얻어진 8점의 실물 작품으로 제작하였다. 연구의 결과를 종합하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, T자 모양을 기본 구조로 하는 관두의 형식을 현대 복식에 도입함으로써 활동의 자유로움과 편안함, 그에 따라 형성되는 조형적인 형태미(形態美)를 동시에 추구할 수 있었다. 둘째, 기하학적 도형의 복합 형태를 응용함으로써 도형이 갖는 간결하고 단순한 특징의 직선과 곡선의 미묘한 조화를 인체의 움직임에 따라 나타나는 다양한 구성을 시도할 수 있었다. 셋째, 관두의 형식의 복식은 착장 방법이 다양하며 끊임없이 새로운 것을 요구하는 현대사회에서 독특한 스타일의 하나로써 그 가능성을 제시할 수 있었다. 앞으로, 관두의 형식의 복식 디자인에 있어서 기본 도형 뿐 아니라 다양하게 형태 변이가 된 도형및 자연 형태 표현까지도 디자인의 모티브로 하여 활동성이 강한 실용적인 면과 조형적인 면을 동시에 추구하는 새로운 디자인 방향의 제시가 되어 그 가능성이 충분히 활용되었으면 한다.;As we can see the vitality of living things through nature's ecology, a maker's inherent aesthetic sense world shows the vitality of vivid formative art works. Garment is not only a part of formative art that establishes a live shape by wearer but also space modelling which features the solidity based on humen body. Hence, beyond the simple meaning of 'wearing clothes', modelling, which makes a cubic shape in accordance with human body's movement, is an import element in garment design. This study examined pull-over- typed garment design that owns abundant sapce sense, taking complex shapes of geometrical diagrams with brief and simple features as a motive. The study aims at seeking after the combination of plane and cubic forms, and exploring formative garments which are further modern and different variance by approaching the natural section of geometrical facets with tightfiitting idea and composition of delicate colors and forms when plane pattern was put on human body. As for the content and method of the study, the definition and the historical background of pull-over-typed garment were examind through literatures, and modern garment applied by the concept of geometrical figures and diagrams were explored by analyzing the collected data phototographs which were devided by each shape of the diagrams. In addition, its meaning was also studied by suggesting the conception on space and work of garment. Eight of actual pieces were produed through the examination of the formative shapes made by putting the pattern on human body, based on the T structure of pull-over style. The following are the result of study ; First, by introducing pull-over style with the basic structure of T shape to modern garment, movable space, comfortable feeling and the beauty of its following formative shape could be obtained at the same time. Second, by applying the complex from of geometrical figutes, the delicate combination of straight and curve lines which feature briefness and simplicity could be approached through the various compositions shaped by movement of human's body. Third, since tightfitting method of pull-over-typed garment varies, the modern society requires a new thing continually accordingly, and its possiblity as one of the unique styles was suggested. From now on, in the pull-over-typed garment design, its possibility would be utillized enough trough the suggestion of a new design direrion that pursues formative as well as practical matter for dynamic activity, by taking not only basic figures but also variously changed diagrams and even natural-shaped expressions as a motive.
