떡살문양을 응용한 의상디자인 연구

Abstract

Every state and race has the traditional culture which comprehends the peculiar Image and characteristics. In these days, however, We are facing to a crisis to lose the subjectivity due to popularization of western mode of life. Especially, this kind of situation has been coming out in fashion design and its ornaments domain remarkably. In the connection, the purpose of this study Is to research our traditional aesthetic and to present the possibility of expression of It which is shown on the rice-cake mold pattern by reorganization to be suitable for progressive sense as modern custom. The theoretical background of this study is based on the research of literature records relevant to concept of traditional aesthetic as well as upright succession of traditional culture of nation and research of rice-cake me]d pattern which shows our aesthetic sense most clearly. In process of work production, the rice-cake mold pattern has been simplified, as it has been accentuated and made five pieces and three illustration of works, which are to be aimed at the color harmony. The results of this study are as follows; First, the Korean traditional aesthetic sense has been formed from the nature and shown whole formative art field. Second taking the traditional pattern for the material, in case we give the variety to the color to be suitable for modern sense, we can be not only sensitive to the original characteristic from traditional pattern but also newly appreciate mkodern sense according to color harmony. Third the rice-cake mold pattern which comprehands inherent aesthetic sense shows the possibility of presentation in modern custom by symplifying and stylizing the mode. Forth, this works would present the harmonization of modeling and function, comforming to modern Individuality age. As standing above, this study would present the possibility of development for the practical fashion desigh which is not separated to actual custom habits through grafting traditional aesthetic on modern fashion design.;어느 민족, 나라든간에 그들이 가지고 있는 풍습과 문화가 각각 다르고 그들 고유의 특성과 이미지가 담긴 각각의 전통문화가 있다. 그러나 오늘날 우리의 전통문화는 서구적 생활양식의 대중화로 인하여 주체상실의 위기에 놓여있다. 특히 복식영역에 있어서는 이러한 현상이 두드러지게 나타나고 있다. 이에 본 논문은, 우리나라의 전통미란 어떤 것인가를 알고 그 창조를 위하여 떡살무늬에 표현되어 있는 전통미를 현대적 감각에 맞도록 재구성하여, 현대복식으로서의 표현가능성을 제시하기 위한 것이다. 본 연구의 이론적 배경으로는 한국의 전통미에 대한 개념과 올바른 민족문화 전통의 계승에 관하여 문헌을 통해 고찰하고, 서민생활과 밀접한 관계를 가져온 목재떡살을 문양의 종류별로 나누어 연구하였다. 민중과 가까이 호흡하여 온 민예품 중의 하나인 목재떡살은 소박하고 단순하면서도 그 내면에 깊은 뜻을 담고 있으면서 서민생활과 함께 이어져오던 것으로 그 무늬의 조합은 문양의 교과서라 할 만큼 다채롭다. 작품제작은 떡살문양의 특징을 현대적 감각에 맞도록 다시 디자인 하였으며, 색상의 조화에 주안점을 두어 실물제작 5점과 일러스트레이션(Illustration)3점으로 제작하였다. 이러한 연구 과정을 통한 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 우리의 전통미의식은 자연에서 얻은 미의식으로서 조형예술 전반에 걸쳐 나타나는데 특히 떡살문양에서 직설적으로 표현하고 있다. 둘째, 전통문양을 소재로 할 때 현대적 감각으로의 색채변화는, 복식의 전체적인 분위기를 현대적으로 이끌어 낼 수 있는 요인이 된다.
