자아개념과 의복동조성에 관한 연구

Abstract

본 연구의 목적은 칭년후기 여대생을 대상으로 여대생들의 자아개념과 의복동조성의 관계를 규명하고자 한다. 본 연구에서는 구체적으로 다음과 같은 가설을 설정하였다. 가설 Ⅰ. 자아개념이 높은 집단이 자아개념이 낮은 집단보다 의복동조성이 낮을 것이다. 가설 Ⅱ. 여대생은 동료집단보다 유행전문가 집단에게 의복동조성이 높을 것이다. 부가적으로 인구 통계학직 변인에 따른 자아개념의 차이를 비교 분석하고 인구통계학적 변인에 따른 의복동조성의 차이를 비교분석한다. 연구대상은 서울시내에 거주하는 여대생중에서 학교의 특성을 고려하여 4학교에서 선정한 154명이었다. 연구방법에 있어서 자아개념은 정원식(1968)이 제작한 자아개념 검사지를 사용하였으며, 의복동조성은 동료집단과 유행전문가 집단에 대한 도구를 연구자가 작성하여 실험연구로 접근하였다. 실험절차는 두단계로 실시하였고, 첫단계에서는 자아개념 검사지와 7개 투피스그림 스타일을 보고 91년 가을-겨울에 가장 유행할 것이라고 예측되는 스타일을 순서대로 나열하도록 하는 것이었으며, 두번째 단계에서는 어떤 특정 스타일에 대한 유행예측의 정보를 제공하는 실험처치를 하였는데 실험처치 방법은 연구자가 작성한 동료집단과 유행전문가 집단의 정보를 제공하는 투피스 그림 2개로 제작된 슬라이드와 정보제공 형식인 설명문을 병행하여 제공하는 정보에 동의하는 정도를 나타내는 것이었다. 결과분석은 평균, 표준편차, t - test, χ^(2) - test, 상관계수, 변량분석, Duncan Multiple Range Test를 하였다. 본 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 자아개념이 높은 집단이 자아개념이 낮은 집단보다 의복동조성이 유의미하게 낮았으므로 가설 Ⅰ이 지지되었다. 2. 여대생은 동료집단보다 유행전문가 집단에게 의복동조성이 유의미하게 높았으므로 가설 Ⅱ가 지지되었다. 부가적으로 1) 학교구성형태, 전공계열, 전공과에 따른 자아개념은 유의한 차이가 없었고, 2) 학교구성형태, 전공계열, 전공과에 따른 의복동조성에서 보면, 학교구성형태에서 동료집단과 유행전문가 집단에 유의한 차이를 나타내었고 전공계열과 전공과에서는 동료집단과 유의한 차이를 나타내었으나 유행전문가 집단에는 유의한 차이를 나타내지 않았다.;The purpose of this study was to investigate relationship between self-concept and clothing conformity. Concretly established hypothesis are as follws: Hypothesis Ⅰ. The group which has the higher level of self-concept may have the lower degree of conformity than the group which has the higher level of self-concept. Hypothesis Ⅱ. The student at a woman's college the group of fashion expret may have the higher degree of conformity than the group of peer. In addition, this study was to determine the difference of self-concept and clothing conformity by the demographic variable. The subject of this study were affected from 154 purposively selected a student at a woman's college dowelling in Seoul City. As measurement - implement, the method of this study were used questionnaire of self - concept by Jeong Won Sik and clothing conformity an experiment with implement of measurement frame by research about the group of peer and the group of fashion expert. The experiment procedure of this study executed two step. In the first step, subject check to questionnare of self - concept and subject were asked to arrange in the order of greatest fashion -ability on this autumn - winter to see that is a style of seventh suits. In the second step, subject were exposed to experimental manipulation which consisted of slides of two's suits clothing style and an essay concerning a forecast of fashion trends. The communicator in the essay and slides was described as a designer or a student at a woman's college, and, In addition to other question, subject were asked to indicate their degree of agreement with the essay and the slides. The date of this study were analyzed by the mean, standard devation, t - test, x^(2) - test, Person's correlation, ANOVA (analysis of variance), Duncan Multiple Range test. The results from experiment were as follow 1. The group which has the higher level of self - concept showed significant the lower degree of conformity than the group which has the higher level of self - concept. Hence, hypothesis I were supported. 2. In a student at a woman's college, the group of fashion expert showed significant the higher degree of conformity than the group of Peer. Hence, hypothesis Ⅱ were supported. In addition 1) There appeared no significant difference self -concept by construction form of college, a major field of study or a major. 2) In clothing conformity by construction form of college, a major field of study or a major, There appeared significant difference between the group of peer and the group of fashion expert in the construction form of college, and There appeared significant difference about the group of peer in a major field of study and a major but There appeared no significant difference about the group of fashion expert in a major field of study and a major.
