현대자수의 부조적 표현 연구

Abstract

2차세계 이후의 미술은 전통적 쟝르의 파괴에서 새로운 종합예술을 추구하는 단계에로 진전되었고 새로운 소재의 설정과 기법의 탐구는 종합예술의 추구를 실현하는 수단으로서 끊임없는 가능성을 펼쳐주고 있다. 현대 섬유예술에 있어서도 새로운 재료의 선택과 기법으로 적극적이고 다양한 표현범위를 넓혀가고 있다. 따라서 오늘날의 섬유예술은 과거의 2차원적인 표현형식에서 벗어나 3차원 혹은 환경적인 표현 형식을 활용하는 새로운 차원의 조형예술로서 변화하고 있다. 이에 자수도 현대 공간예술의 흐름에 따라 평면에서 부조로, 부조에서 입체로의 전환을 추구하며 작가의 개성적인 의도에 의해 전통틀에서 탈피하여 자유로운 조형활동으로서 새롭게 조명 되고 있다. 또한 광범위해진 소재의 사용과 작가의 기술적 연구를 통해 반 입체적인 3차원적 표현 형식으로서의 독창적인 창작으로 기여하여야 한다. 이러한 다양한 소재의 사용에서 오는 표면의 측각적인 특성은 현실적인 존재감을 부여하여 활력 있는 표현을 가능케 하여 주었다. 이에 본 연구는 부조의 표현을 현대 자수에 응용하고 작품제작을 중심으로 고찰, 연구하여 현대 자수의 부조화 작업에 조금이나마 도움이 되고자 하였다.;After world war Ⅱ the Art stepped foward to new complex art from destruction of traditional janre and making new materials and seeking new techniques show us the possibility of establishing the way of complex art. Modern fiber art is spread to exhibit unlimited diversity of new materials and expressing techniques. Therefore, Today's fiber art are changing from the two dimensional expression mode of the past to the new dimensional plastic mode which show the expression style of three dimensions and environmental use. With trends of the modern spatial art, embroidery technique, which is most traditional in fiber art, pursues the convension of ‘plane’ to ‘relief’ and the ‘relief’ to ‘three dimension’ and it is viewed in new light with formative art's free-spirited activities by escaping from traditional formality as a result of artist's individual intentions. Nearly generated skills brought about the use of materials which stress the character of the object, and contributed in producting the creative relief works through technical research of artists. The texture of surface from using of diversed material made possible for existing reality on dynamic expression. This study intends to support the efforts towards the relief in the modern embroidery and application of relief to it.
