F. Chopin의 Fantasie, Op. 49와 R. Schumann의 Symphonic Etudes, Op. 13에 관한 연구

Abstract

본 논문은 낭만주의 대표적 음악가인 F. Chopin(1810-1849)과 R. Schumann(1810-1856)의 피아노 음악에 나타난 특징을 살펴본 후 Chopin의 Fantasie, Op.49와 Schumann의 Symphonic Etudes, Op.13을 연구, 분석한 것이다. Chopin의 음악세계는 피아노 음악에 집중되어 있으며, 특징은 서정적인 선율, 폴란드 민속춤곡의 리듬, 그 당시로서는 대담한 화성, 반음계, 변격종지, 템포 루바토, 그리고 소스테누토 페달의 사용등이 특징이다. Chopin의 Fantasie, Op.49는 그의 음악적 특정이 잘 나타난 작품으로 형식은 서주부 (1-67마디), 제시부 (68-154마디), 전개부 (155-234마디), 재현부 (235-319마디), 종결부 (320-332마디)로 구분되는 자유로운 소나타 형식의 Fantasie이다. Schumann은 시적인 음악가로 표제음악적인 피아노곡들을 통해 낭만주의 이상을 잘 표현하였다. 특징은 짧은 음형의 반복에 의한 선율, 자유로운 리듬의 표현, 불규칙적인 액센트의 사용, 갑작스런 전조 등이다. Schumann의 Symphonic Etudes, Op.13은 주제와 12개의 연습곡으로 된 성격 변주곡으로, 주제는 곡 전체의 기본적인 요소로서 선율, 박자, 화성, 리듬 등을 변화시켜 자유롭게 사용되고 있다. 곡의 형식은 2부분 형식이 대부분이며, 구성은 선율과 반주 형태의 곡(연습곡 Ⅲ, ⅩⅠ, ⅩⅢ)과 모방기법에 사용된 곡(연습곡 Ⅳ, Ⅴ, Ⅵ, Ⅷ), 그리고 대위법적인 곡(연습곡 Ⅰ) 등으로 나눌 수 있다. 리듬은 당김음, 붓점 리듬이 많이 사용되며, 화음은 부속 화음, 비화성음 등이 사용된다.;This study is what analyzed Chopin's Fantasie Op.49 and Schumann's Etudes Op.13, after examing the feature which appeared in the piano musics of F. Chopin (1810-1849) and R. Schumann (1810-1856) who are the representative musicians of Romanticism. The music world of Chopin is being concentrated on piano music. The features are lyric melody, rhythm of the folk dance music of Poland, the use of daring harmony at that time, chromatic scale, plagal cadence, tempo rubato and sostenuto pedal etc. Chopin's Fantasie Op.49 is the work that his musical features appeared well. Form is the Fantasie of free sonata form to be classified into introduction (mm. 1-6), exposition (m.m. 68-154), development (mm. 155-234), reprise (m.m. 235-319) and Coda (mm. 320-332). Schumann express the ideal of romanticism well, through the program-musical piano musics as a poetic musician. The features are melody by short figural repetition, the expression of free rhythm, abrupt modulation, the use of irregular accent etc. Schumann's Symphonic Etudes, Op.13 is the character variation composed of theme and twelve etudes. Then, the theme is being used freely by changing melody, time, harmony and rhythm etc. as the basic elements of piece itself. As for the form of piece, two part form is most. And, the composition may be classified into the piece of the form of melody and accompaniment (Etude Ⅲ, ⅩⅠ, ⅩⅠⅠ), the piece in which imitation technique was used (Etude Ⅳ, Ⅴ, Ⅵ, Ⅷ) and the counterpoint-piece (Etude Ⅰ etc). As for the rhythm, syncopation and dotted rhythm are being used much. And, as for the chord, secondary dominant and non-harmonic notes, etc. are used.
