白石詩硏究

Abstract

이 연구는 백석시의 전체텍스트를 통하여 시인의식의 변모과정과 시적 형상화의 미학적 특성들을 고찰하려는 의도에서 시도되었다. 백석은 1930년대 후반에 등장한 시인으로 前代로 부터 계승된 현실주의 시의 전통과 모더니즘의 영향이 함께하는 문학적 토양을 詩的 출발로 삼고 있다. 백석의 세계에 대한 지향성은 生活과 타인과의 連帶的 삶이라는 현실적 가치에 놓여져 있는데, 시인은 이를 시간의 逆戰과 회복이라는 인식적 틀과 구체적이면서도 친밀하게 의미를 형상화하는 시적 방법을 통해 구현한다. 즉 초기시에서는 과거를 지향하는 의식의 구심운동에서 획득된 공동체적 연대감을, 반복의 서술구조를 통행 생생하게 현재화시키는 것을 알 수 있다. 또한 후기시에서는 자아동일성을 가능케하는 과거와의 지속의식을, 감각이라는 내밀한 통로를 통해 유지하며, 시인은 다시 현실의 문제를 객관적으로 탐구하게 되는 것이다. 결국 백석이 이루어낸 세계는 민족공동체라는 이름으로 묶일 수 있는 공통적 연대성을 갖는 것인데 이에 호응하여 시인의식을 가장 효과적으로 구현하는 미적 장치로써 전통적으로 친근하게 수용될 수 있는 이야기의 도입, 반복의 서술구조, 상징어, 감각적 이미지 등이 기능하고 있는 것이다. 30년대 후반을 내성화된 현실주의라고 범주화한다면, 백석은 현실적 관심을 독자적으로 탐구하여 현실주의 시의 형상화의 범주를 확대시키고 있다고 할 수 있다.;I have studied the whole texts of Paek Soek's poetry to understand how he kept on changing his consciosness as a poet and what was the aesthetic quality in embodying it. He entered upon his poetical career in the late 1930's. when a new current of Modernism started to exercise a considerable influence on realistic heritage in literature. Paek Seok's desire to approach the objective world was closely correlated with the actual values which were materialized in his own everyday life and solidary life with others. The desire was able to be realized by the cognitive mechanism functioning in the form of going back to the past and awakening the past in the present space, and by the poetical method giving shape to all sorts of ideas with concrete and familiar sentiments. The whole world of his poetry can be classified into two realms whose characteristics correspond to his two versification stages. In the early works, by the narrative structure of repetitious utterances, he revived vividly the solidary spirit of community acquired by centripetal movement of consciousness which traced back to the past. In the late works, by what is called the sensation,the veiled passage between the subject and the object, he maintained the consciousness of duration which had supported his self-identity. And then he started to research into many actual problems objectively. Having followed the process as stated above, Paek seok's poetry got to obtain the solidarity which united him to other people intimately in the name of national community. So as to obtain it, he took various stories which bring us traditional familiarity into poems, and operated many poetical installations such as the narrative structure of repetitious utterances, the symbolic worlds, the sensuous images and so forth, which corresponded to those stories. When the realism in literature was getting introverted idealistically step by step in the late 1930's. Paek Seok stably explored worldly concerns about real life wite his original style. As a result of it, he was able to enlarge the category of embodimental method in the realistic poetry.
