신체움직임을 통한 표현적 기술에 관한 고찰

Abstract

본 논문은 신체 움직임을 통한 표현적 의사소통의 기술에 대한 고찰로써 Warren Lamb의 이론을 바탕으로 하여 예술작품의 분석적 접근을 시도해 보았다. 신체 움직임의 암호와 해독에 관한 연구는 1960년 이후 문화 인류학에서 많이 다루어져 왔고 이러한 신체 움직임들에 대한 연구는 점점 집중되고있다. 또한 신체 움직임은 언어의 본질적 기능이며 모든 상징화의 본질적인 기능으로써 이 침묵으로 말하는 움직임을 살펴 보고자 한다. 먼저, Ⅱ장은 이론적 배경으로써 인간동력의 기능과 형태, 그리고 움직임 사이에서 나타나는 신체언어들을 살펴 보았다. 인간동력의 근원은 신경근육 단위이고 신경근육은 뼈에 작용하고 근육이 움직일때 뼈를 움직인다. 즉, 뼈는 운동방향과 목적을 제공해 주는 것이다. 신경근육을 움직이게 하는 것의 하나로 정서(Emotion)을 들수 있는데 정서를 정확히 인식하고 표현하는 과정에서 움직임이 나타나는 것이다. 의사소통에 있어서 말을 제외한 신체 움직임은 크게 Gesture와 Posture로 제한된다. 그러나 이러한 움직임 들은 독립적으로는 아무런 의미가 없고 일련의 움직임으로서 만이 의미가 있는 것이다. 그것은 Gesture와 Posture의 결합상태인 P.G.M인데 각 개개인의 움직이는 행동의 기준인 것이다. 이러한 일련의 움직임은 우리가 노력(Effort)함으로써 다양해 질수 있고 유사성 있는 외양(Shape)이 나타나는 것이다. Ⅲ장은 'Jesus Christ Superstar'중 제2막 'Gethsemane 동산의 예수'작품분석으로써 작품 속에서 나타나는 일련의 움직임을 Detail (ⅰ), (ⅱ), (ⅲ)로 나누어 살펴 보았다. 작품분석 결과 Detail(ⅰ)에서는 비유사성을 띤 움직임과 곡선적이고 펼치는 모양이 대 부분이었다. Detail(ⅱ)에서는 주로 유사성을 띤 움직임이 보였고 Detail(ⅲ)에서는 다양한 모양성분이 나타났다.;In this study, the analytical approach of a work of art, as an investigation about the write of expressive communication through body movement based on Warren Lamb's theory, was tried. The studies about the deciphering of body movement were treated much at the culture-anthropology after 1960, and the studies about this body movement are concentrated more and more. Also body movement is the essential function of language, and I would like to examine the movement which says by silence, as an essential function of all symbolization. First, in the second chapter, the body language, which appears at the function and form in human dynamics and movement as a theoretical background, was investigated. The origin of human dynamics is a unit of nerve-muscle, and nerve-muscle acts on the bones, and they moves bone when muscle moves. That is, bones are providing direction of movement and purpose of movement. Emotion can be taken as an example which moves nerve-muscle, and this movement appears as a process which correctly recognizes emotion and expresses it. In communication, body movement excepr language, are limited largely as Gesture and Posture But this movement have no meaning individually, and they have menaing only as a sequence of movement. That is a P.G.M. which is a joining forces course of gesture and posture, and it is the standard of individual's moving act. In third chapter, as an work analysis of 'Jesus Christ in Gethsemane Grove' Which is the second act of 'Jesus Christ Superstar' - a series of movements which appears at the work -, were invesigated by classifying into detail (ⅰ), (ⅱ), (ⅲ). As a result of work analysis, the movements having unsimilarity and the shapes whic are circling and spreading, were the major parts. In detail (ⅱ), the movements which having similarity comparatively, were seen. In detail (ⅲ), component of diversified shape was appeared.
