민속의상을 응용한 현대 의상디자인 연구

Abstract

복식의 역사는 전통양식을 보존하는데 그칠 것이 아니라 전통양식의 현대화에 이르러야 할 것이다. 민족의상이란 특정지역의 고유한 전통을 담고 있는 의복이라 할 수 있으며 그 나라의 민족성과 민족문화를 가장 잘 합리적으로 반영한다고 볼 수 있다. 따라서 전통의 계승은 문화의 과거와 미래를 잇는 연속의 원리인 동시에 사회의 변동에 따라 변화·재생·창조되는 것이라고 보아진다. 이에 본 논문에서는 무굴왕조 시대를 배경으로 장식적이고 화려한 인도의 민속의상을 분석함으로써 현대의상에 특징적으로 나타나는 인도풍의 민속의상, 즉 복고적이거나 계승적이 아닌 창조적인 것에 착안하여 색상과 실루엣을 모티브로 1점의 의상제작과 9점의 일러스트레이션(Illustration)으로 제시하였다. 작품제작을 통해 본 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 인사 역사를 거슬러 올라 무굴왕조 시대를 배경으로 장식적이고 민속적인 화려한 원색의 색상으로 토속적인 이미지의 강렬함을 나타낼 수 있었다. 둘째, 짧은 상의 디자인과 하의의 풍성한 드레이프 변화로 부드러운 선을 연출함으로써 여성적인 분위기의 실루엣을 표현할 수 있었다. 셋째, 장식적인 효과를 줄 수 있는 터번의 착용과 인도 고유 전통의 Mirror를 부분적으로 사용하고 금색의 비즈가 표현 됨으로써 화려한 동양의 이국적 정서를 느낄 수 있었다. 이상의 결과로 민속의상의 화려한 색상과 장식적인 표현으로 에스닉적인 현대 복식으로 형상화 시켰으며 일러스트레이션의 제작을 통한 의상의 특징및 근본적인 스타일을 창작적으로 이끌수 있는 방향으로 결론을 맺고져 한다.;The history of clothing (fashion) should not stay at facilitating conversation of the traditional style of clothing but go a step further to promote modernization of traditional clothing clothing. A native clothing is one that encompasses can be seen as what effectively takes into consideration the national characteristics and culture. Therefore, inheritance of tradition will be the foundation of continuity between the past and future, and at the same time, be changed, reproduced, and created as the society changes. This dissertation will be an extended study of the historical background of the mogul dynasty's ornamental Insian fashion, to derive its traits that show in contemporary clothing, where not the conservative and inherent but the creative aspects lead to the colors and silhouette of the five piece of fabricated and three pieces of illustrated ideas presented as motifs study result from making the art pieces are as follows. First, going back up the Indian history to the mogul times as a background, decorative and fancy while outlandish mind-settings, brought into the fashion to create a cultural and erotic ambience, were possible. Second, by partial dyeing already dyed material through careful selection, a veriety of transformation of colors were attained, and the unique fancy coloring enable a strong display of ruler image. Third, partial use of traditional Micro, and extensive use of drapes in the bottom pieces werw brought about, and through a variety of machine-made fold specific changes in detail and the distinctively or chestrated fabric enables unique balance. These result show ethnic contemporary fashion though the unique subject of national clothing, and by actual was creatively delivered.
