종이조형의 입체구성을 형상화한 복식 디자인

Abstract

우리 일상생활속에 산재해 있는 종이 조형은 표현매재(媒材)의 한계성을 과감히 확대 시키고자 하는 예술가의 의지와 실험정신을 새로운 조형이념에 의한 훈련 및 시각언어를 경험하게 해주고 있다. 또한 형태의 여러가지 연구는 조형의 기초능력을 발전시키고 깊게하는데 중요한 역할이 되며 새로운 조형수단을 터득하게 한다. 본 연구는 종이를 새로운 조형재료의 개념으로서 가치를 인정하고 그에 따라 형성되는 표현을 새로운 의미의 복식조형으로 확대시켜 디자이너들에게 조형감각을 터득하게 하고 새롭고 독창적인 디자인을 창출하고자 하는데 의의를 두고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 종이조형의 형상화를 복식디자인에 응용한 총8작품을 제작하였고, 그중 7점은 모시를 소재로 입체적으로 구성하였으며, 1점은 일러스트레이션(illustration)으로 제작하였다. 작품제작을 통해 본 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 평면의 고정관념에서 벗어나 다양한 형태를 복식에 입체적으로 표현함으로써 새로운 이미지를 창출할 수 있었다. 둘째, 종이조형의 입체구성은 다양한 형태로 구성될 수 있으므로 여러가지 입체조형의 형태를 복식디자인으로 형상화 할 수 있었다. 셋째, 종이조형을 통해 입체형태의 가능성을 실험하는 것은 새로운 형태미를 얻는 좋은 수단이 되어 입체형태의 다양한 표현가능성을 제시할 수 있었다.;Paper molding, scattered in our everyday life, let us experience the discipline and visual language with the new molding idea of artists' will and experimental spirit by enlaring boldly the limit of expression material. Also, various studies of shape take an important role for developing and deepening the basic ability to molding and let us realize new molding means. This study put it's significance to let the designers understand the molding sense and create new and creative design by acknowledging the value of paper as a new idea of molding material and by enlarging the expression created from it as a fashion shape of new meaning. So, in this study, total eight pieces of works applied the formation of paper molding to the fashion design were produced and seven pieces of them were composed cubically using ramie fabric as their material, and one piece was produced by illustration. The results of this study through the production of these works are as follows; First freed from fixed idea of plane, new image could be created by expressing various shape cubically to the fashion. Second, since the cubic formation of paper molding could be formed as various shape, the shape of various cubic moulding could be formed as fashion design. Third, as the experiment of cubic shape and possibility through paper moulding becomes good means for getting new art of form, various expression possibility of cubic form could be suggested.
